    The dock seems to be an USB-C dock, but Thunderbolt "compatible".

      Accoding to Toshiba this is a real TB3 dock with a TB3 port on the back.

      This deal might not come with a proper cable, but you can buy a short chinese TB3 cable for pretty cheap.

        Thanks for the link. So it looks like display support is TB3. I thought normally TB dock would be able also provide USB 3.2 gen 2 ports.

      No, that one is USB/DisplayLink.

        Thank you vey much. I didn't realize that displaylink could support two 4K monitors and one 2K monitor while providing 65W power to charge the laptop.
        Do you think my current dock is better than this Toshiba dock? Thanks.

          Personally I dislike DisplayLink docks and I would get a TB3 dock instead, but if it's working well for you then I wouldn't bother upgrading.

    Hi All,

    Does anyone know how this dock would work when connected to a laptop with USB-C that does not have thunderbolt? Specifically I want to run dual HDMIs, but I suspect it would work without the thunderbold support.
