    “Sorry, something went wrong”

    • I'm here to see the “Sorry, something went wrong” comment :)

  • +4

    Nice $7 profit

  • I have 2 x $2 challenges so $9 profit

    • You got them both with one transaction?

  • on if I don't have soemthing went wrong…

In saying that, I can buy just cannot activate

  • Something wrong again…

  • +1

    Nice profit thanks.

  • +1

Too many issues with Boost purchase and/or activate these days. I am staying out. Not worth $4-$5.

  • +3

The free 28 day sim plan and new number benefits are worth a lot more than the $4-$5

Pity, the 20 - 40 or more at a time desperados on here ruined it for us

  • the t&c does not stating need to be activated within 30 days. i am wonder if i can buy now and activate next year and still get the cashback of $22 for $45 prepaid sim.

    • Do so at your own risk, I've left CR Boost, and SB Amaysim unactivated and been approved.
But they may make changes at any moment and we'd not know until tested.

Again/repeat… Do so at your own risk.

    • +1

Shopback notes: "SIM must be activated within 30 days of ordering."

  • @BargainsGrabber 35 and 45 aren't the GBs, they are the original prices. They are 50GB and 65GB respectively.

    • +1

Yeah deal title really confused me at first read

    • 50GB is total data including bonus when first purchase and subsequent

      35GB is the base

  • So with this can I buy multiple sims (exiting and reclicking) and the cash back will keep stacking?

  • SORRY, SOMETHING WENT WRONG

We’re sorry but we’re experiencing technical issues. Please try again later.

  • SORRY, SOMETHING WENT WRONG

  • Got it, and both $2 Bonuses. Be aware that the old one is pretty much exhausted now.

    • Yeh, hasnt tracked yet and the first $2 bonus is exhausted. Last time mine tracked in 1 hr , its been over 12hrs now and nothing

      @gotyourback

      • Gonna cancel the order.
Both challenges exhasted and tracking with shopback app is becoming troublesome lately.

Topcashback always tracks faster for me

  • +1

Thanks OP. Double $2 bonus, so $9 profit.

  • +1

    Something ALWAYS wrong.

    • At least they are specific

  • Something sometimes correct

  • Is there tracking issue with boost via shopback at the moment? Seems a lot of people are getting the something wrong message.

    • +2

That's nothing to do with tracking/SB, it's on Boost's side.

  • +2

Oh no, I'm finally part of the SORRY, SOMETHING WENT WRONG club.

  • Something is always wrong

  • never work anymore.

  • +1

Profit in title please. I have a search alert for:

    profit option:titleonly type:ozbdeal

  • +1

Tried new device, address, payment, also in something went wrong club

    • +1

Might need a new Shopback account (which I haven't tried)

      • +1

lol, I was thinking the same but its too much hassle to have that plus it might violate Shopback or Cashrewards T&Cs….the time & effort isn't gonna be worth any profit under $10.

      • +1

@Bii - finally managed to get out of the something went wrong club. No need to create new SB/CR accounts, which might not end up well.

Surprisingly, used same old device, new name, phone, email, card, minor adjustment to address and it worked!

        • +1

EDIT: another order went through successfully. From movement in order number, looks like its 1 order per minute.

        • New card is under the same name as new name?

          • +2

@wavesgreen: Used Activ VISA prepaid card from 2 weeks ago at WW 20x points deal. These 100%+ cashback deals also helps in getting the funds from prepaid cards back into bank account.

            • @nsingh21: Didn't realise WW sold an Activ Visa product. Interesting.

              • +2

@wavesgreen: lol - with the amount of deals here on OzB and now there's a gift card deal going on every week. IMO, Activ VISA is only slightly less prone to hacking but I've found Prepaid MasterCard to be more widely accepted than Prepaid VISA (lol). Atleast here in Aus, for me…

But then, WW never offers 10% off on their cards, so Coles is still my go-to, was desperate 2 weeks ago to meet a spend target so had to go to WW.

These deals should be tagged as targeted. The number of users who can't purchase is growing each deal.

    Fraud detection my foot.

Even the recommended method by Boost to get around problems is fraud.

    • What recommended method?
It might be the number of $4 + deals last month caused more flagged accounts than usual

        In the main deal post,

Live chat advised that if you faced the above fraud scenario message, you need to use your friends details (aka a completely different details) to order

        • Oh that seems way off script. I asked them to remove some expired services but so far hasn't made any difference

    • yes, this is really gotten me thinking into how have they really structured their fraud detection. I was surprised when a new device didn't do the trick either. Seems like address has to be more than slightly modified to completely unique now I guess. I'm sure Boost team would have noticed this as part of the orders that they're getting.

      • I suspect it ain't about fraud detection …

I had been blocked for a long time, then let back in for 2 purchases, then blocked again.

        • Lol, or it could be that when you were able to do those 2 transactions, your fraud restrictions were cooled off.

          • -1

@nsingh21: To clarify, my meaning was not about what the system is called or how it operates. I suspect the reason it was implemented ain't about fraud detection.

    Thanks OP

  • Do you have to activate the Sim for the cashback to track?

  • What's the cheapest port out option at the moment? Does the $2 vodafone sim without credit work to port out?

  • Does anyone know if these work in iPads?

  • +1

    Solid cashback

  • +1

Oh cool the gb's went up, bought 6 thanks.

    • Only on the first 3 recharges, but I doubt you would even need to do the 2nd recharge since most of us are just using it as data SIM

  • +1

Any indication when the boosted cashback will end?

  • -1

statistics showing more than 50% ppl cannot order any boost mobile sim…

maybe this kind of deal should be changed to Targeted until boost/telstra sort out their system….(yes boost use the SAME prepaid ordering system as telstra)

  • While Cashrewards don't say anything about new customers, Shopback does mention that Cashback is only qualified for new customers.
If someone is already with boost (28 days service expired few weeks ago but still active) as a second sim, can he still get cashback if boost service is activated on primary sim (port in from different provider) ?
Alternatively, purchasing the sim card today, however before activating the primary sim with boost, does it help if the secondary sim is ported out from boost into amaysim for successful cashback?
With Cashrewards from my experience it doesn't matter but with Shopback I haven't really tried this.
    Thanks
