feel sorry for the kids behind the register …it’s someone’s son or daughter trying to make some pocket money and some of these kids struggle with non std orders as it’s just a part time job and then with non std orders have to get the manager

My app has no option to order just patty and bun on own tho instead showing $5.35 for nothing after removing everything

Sharing these kind of loopholes mean they usually don't last very long as the company will catch on quickly. Before you know it, they'll be charging the price of a whole burger just for the patty when selected without a burger for example..
Don't think it's a loophole, have been able to do this for at least 10 years. On very rare occasions I've bought just the chicken patty as dog food when traveling.
Also just asked for M&M toppings for a handful of M&M's, Cashier has never hesitated so I'm not the only one.

I bought a $2 cheese burger via app then at the counter I asked for pickles and they said no.
I know pickles are free .if you can get them
Would this vary by state? I tried in SA the other day, bought a hamburger and asked to add a 1/4 pounder patty on the side. He was silent for a second, then said it's not possible. Then I asked if he was sure, and he said yes. Then there was awkward silence for 10 seconds. Then I said thanks anyway and left.
Did he have no clue what he was doing? Is there instructions I need to give them next time to avoid the akwardness?
Some of the staff are newer and don't know how to process orders for just patties. One of my friends is a total gymbro and only thing he gets at McDonald's is the McChicken patties and I have heard him tell the employees what buttons they need to press on the screen to add the item on more than a few occasions. Some of them think that he used to work at McDonald's lol
Haha amazing. I was also getting it as a post workout snack. I’ll try again next time I feel like Maccas, might have to ask for someone more experienced if they say no again.
