Good to see a deal on the 128gb

    BUT

You were selling them for $86.50 only a few days ago (10 sold, checked sold prices)

Can you drop the 128gb back down to $86.50?
    If so, I'll buy.

    • +22

done, specially for you - $85.95

      • +2

Can't argue with that excellent customer service - purchased just now, posting to 2120.

Looking forward to giving it a workout.

        THANK YOU!

        • Of course you would be able to. Hopefully no one in their right mind would format to FAT32 and be limited by files less the 4gb

        • I think the PS3 can only read hard drives formatted to FAT32. Same with some of their older blu-ray players. They finally got the message and the recent blu-ray players support NTFS formatted drives.

        • FAT32 is the bane of my existence.

        • Long live the new ExFAT then huh?
Works on pretty much all OS' and no file size limit.

Finalyl macs, PCs and my consoles can get along!

  • 128GB <— Jeez this is real tempting to buy. I probably should wait to see if I get this new job first though. What's stock like on these? Even if the price goes up a little in the future I'm sure to come back and make a purchase once my job security is determined assuming these drives are an ongoing thing.

128GB in the pocket for my new job will be just fantastic, hell I may even buy 2!

    • All Flash based products' prices UP recently due to huge demand of Apple.
Apple is buying alomst all stock from Sandisk for their phones that's why price UP!

      • I thought Apple used Samsung or Toshiba flash in their products…

Edit: I did some digging and turns out Sandisk NAND has been used in the nano and certain announcements have lead to believe that Sandisk NAND may be found in the iPad and iPhone.

      • -1

Yeah, I think you might be talking out of your ass there, mate.

  • -1

Are these reals speeds or wishful thinking speeds??
Real sizes or just 8GB with fake sizing tags?

Can vouch that the seller reliable. Bought 128 gb master USB 3.0 during the last sale.

      • Thanks for the reply!
        I bought a 16GB USB :)

  • whats the difference between the nickel coating and ultra 2? besides the shape

    • Housing.

Nickel coating - the most nice housing I've ever seen .

  • Are USB 3.0 flash drives backwards compatible with USB 2.0 ports?

    • of coz!
and min. writing speed on USB 2.0 ports 15-18MB/s which is 3 times faster than Generic Sandisk
      USB 2.0 drives - I tested

      • Is that the 16GB version you're talking about? Wouldn't mind getting one if it can write 15MB/s.

        • yep, 16GB will be around 15MB/s depends on hardware

  • Why is this described as being "swivel type"? We're going to get the one pictured right?

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Master-16GB-ULTRA2-USB-3-0-Extrem…

    • Thx, corrected

The write speeds seem slow for USB 3.0?

    • same price as USB 2,0 - 3times faster
or buy from our store Sandisk Extreme 3.0 with 15% faulty rate:)

      • That's a disappointing failure rate. Don't the Sandisk Extreme USB thumb drives max out at 190MB/s read/write speed?

  • can you post some USB 2 specials?

  • Do you think you'd notice a difference in speed when dealing with a USB 2.0 port?

    • yep, 3 times faster

      • Than fit etc I assume you're talking about

    • Arrived today (very quick delivery). Speeds of 30mb/s + which is great :)

  • question: What are the write speeds when used in a USB2.0 port?

I ask because I've seen some USBs get high write speed on USB3.0 port but snail speed on USB2.0 port. By snail speed I mean less than 4 MB/s on USB2.0

    Thanks

    • on USB 2.0 ports these drives works ~15MB/s

  • Ordered 16gb "Nickel". Hope to receive it soon.

  • Just bought a 64gb with Express. Looking forward to it :)
Windows To Go here I come!

    • all Express are shiiped out same day

  • just ordered 2 64GB

Can vouch for this seller, and the drives are legit, ive got a 64gb here, does the advertised speeds within HDtune, works really well

    +1 to you.

I’ll give you some examples as to why I’m skeptical about your nationality (I apologise for the shitty formatting, I don't know what codes to use here):

“done, specially for you - $85.95”
        Instead of
“I changed it especially for you…”

“All Flash based products' prices UP recently due to huge demand of Apple.
Apple is buying alomst all stock from Sandisk for their phones that's why price UP!”

        Instead of:
“The prices of all flash-based products have risen recently due to the demand from “Apple”. Apple is buying almost all of Sandisk’s stock for the iPhone which is why the prices have risen.”

“it's 3rd deal for the last 30 days.
Here is comment from prevous deals:”

        Instead of:

“This is the 3rd deal in the last 30 days.
Here is a link to our previous deal for which we have had very positive feedback.”

        “Housing.
Nickel coating - the most nice housing I've ever seen .”

        Instead of:
        “The housing.
Nickel coating is the (most durable?) housing of all.”

        “of coz!
and min. writing speed on USB 2.0 ports 15-18MB/s which is 3 times faster than Generic Sandisk
        USB 2.0 drives - I tested”

        Instead of:
        “Of course!
And min. writing speed […] which is 3 times faster than a generic Sandisk. I have personally tested this.”

“same price as USB 2,0 - 3times faster
or buy from our store Sandisk Extreme 3.0 with 15% faulty rate:)”

        Instead of:
“It’s the same price as the slower USB 2.0 model which is 3 times slower than this product.
You can also buy from our store, Sandisk Extreme where the Flash 3.0 has (only) a 15% failure rate :)”

“on USB 2.0 ports these drives works ~15MB/s”
        Instead of:
“On USB 2.0 ports, the flash 3.0 drive works at around 15MB/s.”

“all Express are shiiped out same day”
        Instead of:
“Express postage orders are shipped the same day as they are received.”

“Sandisk Extreme 3.0 has the highest faulure rate so far -15%” (I think you meant “lowest”)
        Instead of:
“Sandisk Extreme 3.0 has the lowest failure rate so far at 15%.”

        “25MB/s comparing with USB 2.0 - 5MB/s”
        Instead of:
“They write at 25MB/s, compared to 2.0’s 5/MB/s.”

        On your Ebay listing:
“Very Small dimension : 55mm length and 8mm thickness only”
        Instead of:
        “Very small. Dimensions: 55mmX8mm.

“All items will be shipped to buyer's paypal address. Please check your paypal address is right”
        Instead of:
“All items will be shipped to the specified address. Please check that your address is correct before confirming the transaction.”

“We strongly suggest choosing deliveries with Registered Post so all deliveries will be insured against any damage and stealing during transit.”
        Instead of:
“We strongly suggest selecting Registered Post to ensure deliveries will be insured against any damage or theft during transit.”

“In Stock products will be shipped within 8 working hours of your order”
        Instead of:
“Products that are in stock will be shipped within 8 working hours from the time of ordering.”

“If you do not receive your item (s) by 35 business days, Please feel free to contact us through ebay mail system or E-mail, we will try our very best to resolve any problems with you.”
        Instead of:
“If you have not received your purchase after 35 business days, please feel free to contact us through ebay or our email address and we will try our very best to resolve any problems you may have.”

“A Full Refund will be issued to you with No Excuse. We do not want to give you a bad buying experience even when the shipping is out of our control.”
        Instead of:
“You have the right to request a full refund if the product is not to your satisfaction. (We like to treat our customers fairly)” - In brackets, because it doesn’t need to be said anyway.

“Returned goods must be unused and contained in their original, unopened packaging.”
        Instead of:
“When returning goods for a refund or exchange, they must be unused and in their original, unopened packaging.”

“All products are covered by 2-year Warranty In Australia, warranty should be enquired directly to us.”
        Instead of:
“All of our products are covered by a 2-year warranty in Australia - all warranty enquiries should be sent directly to us”.

“All emails will be answered within 1 business day. If you do not receive our reply, please kindly re-send your email and we will reply to you as soon as possible. Attention: We will answer the email via Ebay , please check your ebay message to.”
        Instead of:
“We will answer all emails within 1 business day. If you do not receive a reply by the end of the first business day, please re-send it and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Attention: (I don’t really understand what you were trying to say here it *might be: “We also send responses via ebay, so please be sure to check your ebay account too.”*

Seriously? Am I the only one who is seeing this?

I’m sorry, I am not convinced you are a native English speaker - I said Indian just as a guess. Again, your English is very good, but you do NOT speak like a native-English speaker.

I realised where I slipped up though - you don’t have to have English as a first language to be an Australian, so I apologise if that’s the case. You grew up learning a different language and learned English when you got older, correct?

I'm not saying this is a scam at all by the way, just to clear that up.

        • +4

You made your point before and even received a direct answer. Time to move on instead of spending 30mins writing posts which have no benefit but to single out a person with English as a 2nd language. I'm sure it's not your intent but such long examples makes it seem otherwise.

        • +1

Wow what a carve up, english probably isn't his native/first language.

You made your point after your first example, but providing another 50 examples of everything the guy has ever typed is just rude.

May not have been your intention (actually it probably was) … that's not cool. Just sayin'

        • -1

so what youre trying to say is that if you cant speak/write 100% perfect english, youre not australian

        • +2

No, that's not what he's saying, and if you read his posts carefully, you would see that.

        • What

        • the

        • Thank you for making the sentences clearer, easier to understand :D.
I gave you a plus. I wish I have a person like you in the family to correct me when I am speaking English cause English is my second language.

This is a bargain website and not a English forum but anyway thank you very much.

        • +1 for the effort you put into this, even if it was misplaced.

      • I don't give a flying f… if the guy is originally Australian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Indian, Martian, whatever.

He has made it clear that he is now an Aussie one way or the other.

As long as these things do what they are supposed to do I am happy.

Cudos to the OP for not reacting to Andy-Laa - who I am guessing comes from a non-English background himself…

Also bear in mind we dont always use perfect grammar all the time - when I am in a rush I often leave out words or even fail to complete sentences.

    • +4

It is "your English Is great", ironic when "you're" commenting on grammar :P

      • -6

An honest mistake. It's not exactly the epitome of the English language to get "your" and "you're" correct, lest ye be castrated. He seems to have got only a loose grasp on joining words and simple syntax.

I think it's a bit silly to have an official rep who can't spell properly from a business point-of-view, but that's not the issue I have. I'm just compiling a list of his sentences that don't sound native at all, so have a read through and see what you think…

        • +1

          Troll bargains not people's English

        • Mastery of English is inversely proportional to the bargain factor duh

        • +1

The guy is running a small PC parts business, not a multinational corporation.

What do you do Andy other than answer calls in your telemarketing job?

    • A lot of Indians coming from the big cities have better knowledge of the English vocabulary than most Australians. They are taught English as their first language and go in to a lot more detail than what you would really expect them to.

      • +1

        I am not from India:)

      • -1

i am not indian, either, but i know many well-educated indians can score 2400 for GRE which is incredible :D

        • -1

          there was one faceless idiot.

      • +5

Some do, yes. We just hate the ones who call us everyday pretending to be Microsoft technicians.

        • Thats because fool on you for having a home phone number, never recieved a scam call, never will.

    • you're English is great

      your*…

  • +1

    nice - just grabbed a 32GB USB 3

  • +2

These have the reliability life-span of a peanut.

    • You sure? ive been using mine daily and still runs fine, transfer quite a bit of data to and from it as well.

    • Sandisk Extreme 3.0 has the highest faulure rate so far -15%

  • Purchased the 32GB. Ty :)

  • the writing speed is really slow….
    http://www.everythingusb.com/speed.html

    • 25MB/s comparing with USB 2.0 - 5MB/s

      • “Corsair Flash Voyager GTR is just a fast USB 2.0 flash drive we picked for reference”

        "copy from: 29.97 mb/s
        copy to: 24.41 mb/s"

    • +1

take into account I sell for the price of USB 2.0 or even lower (64GB)

  • thanks~ ordered a 64GB. =) price is sweet.

  • Swivel vs Cap? Which is better? Caps easy to forget and lose, not sure how the swivels hold up.

Can you fit a keyring on both? Looks like it might get in the way of the swivel action?

    • Swivel, I always loose my caps only have two swivel style but they are still going strong.

      • Neither, I prefer the ones with the slider that pops out when you need it and hides away when you don't. Nothing to lose and more solid feeling (imo). I prefer caps over swivel even though I know I'll lose the cap before long :)

        • Thanks, i prefer the slide ones too. I usually pass up these deals for a future slide out one. The swivel looks a bit awkward and like it would spin out of position too easily from a little bump

        • I prefer slider too but that is not one of the options presented.

      • Thanks, yeah I have to be honest there is no way I will not lose a cap and should get swivel if I want any form of protection for the metal end.

  • +1

+1 for me, would give +2 if i could, one for the product and one for the excellent customer service given

  • How come when I want to purchase the 64gb one it showed as 39.95$

    • Just noticed the exact same thing: $37.95 in the description above, $39.95 on the Ebay page.

      • Now the description changed to 39.95$… Why just why when I wanna purchase something out of OZB, suddenly the price altered… huhu..

I know only 2 bucks.. but hell 2 bucks can get me 1 coke or at least 6 Mcdonald's ice cream…

        • haha, true ozbargainer, with $2 I can buy 2 cokes

  • Bought 64 and 128 express but no combined postage :(
    $6+$6=$12 postage.
Has the 64gb gone up in price as is showing $39.95

  • very cheap too bad i have a million of these things.

    • -1

if you sold each for $1, you would have $1m

  • The price has gone up from yesterday on the 16GB. Do not know about the others. Sounds like they did also.

Yesterday the 16GB was advertised here as 12.99, now it's edited to 13.99. I don't know if people still think both are just as good deal. But it gained positives while it was on the lower price, increasing the price without any note makes it appear to the newcomer that all the positives were for the current (higher) prices.

  • Any notes from the reps?… one sentence maybe?

  • HI Guys

I had to increase price due to sold many but there prices are still significantly lower.
    Still same price for 128GB and 32GB. I have increase 1$ for 16GB and 2$ for 64GB

    64GB USB - +40$ and I sell USB 3.0 - 39.95$

I will launch anew deal in 2 weeks

    • Can I do a combined shipping then since the price has risen by 2$… At least this would help me to reduce the shipping cost…

      • Sure, just request Total

        • Rep, Ive already paid for a 64 and 128 express and there was no postage. Any chance of you fixing it up please? paid 2x $6=$12

        • Edit:

          There was No Combined Postage!.

        • you just need to request total during orer process and I will adjust freight

        • Thanks for your reply, but I have already paid the 2x $6 =$12.
Any chance of fixing it as most sellers usually offer combined packaging when buying more than one item on eBay ?
          Thanks.

        • what is your ebay account? ill look into it

        • user name and account is steveo4u

I would appreciate it, thank you.

    • You mentioned you will launch a new deal in 2 weeks. Still waiting for that, any chance of doing that? Cheers.

  • Hi, I received the USB drive today.

There are issues with the drive and does not connect properly.

I think the contacts are faulty. It is sometimes not detected by the computer (never had issues on my ports) but if I wiggle it around it sometimes shows up.

What is the process to get this drive replaced? Should I go through eBay?
