    • Thanks JV

  • eBay description says "Includes US/North American IEC power cable."

Good price for a brand-name injector, just be aware that it only does 100Mbps so you wouldn't want to use it for e.g. a UniFi access point.

It's perfect for cameras, phones, and doorbells though!

Looks like they're selling AMX branded ones too that apparently support 1000Mbps

I eyeballed these but they're massive haha

      • Thanks for this, just picked up four of 'em.

Been eyeballing POE switches, but this works out a little cheaper and redundant.
        I've plenty of space also!

worth it just for the switchmode PSU's!

    • dammit, too late

    Pretty sure 802.3af is 15.40 W max

    • Good point, some of the Reolink cameras require more than that…

    • Yep specs say 350mA max

"With support for IEEE 802.3at and IEEE 802.3af"
What Is the 802.3at PoE Standard? The original IEEE 802.3af-2003 PoE standard provides up to 15.4 W of DC power on each port. The updated IEEE 802.3at-2009 PoE standard, also known as PoE+ or PoE plus, allows for up to 30 W of power to Type 2 devices.

lol. Now I know why eBay the eBay messages are going nuts.

  • Buy now, think later :)

We have a lot in stock, so it's probably going to go in and out of stock as we can only list a maximum of 100 on eBay due to syncing.

    • now it shows OOS, can you reset the qty… ?

      • show some patience my friend

With support for IEEE 802.3at and IEEE 802.3af standards

Does this really support IEEE 802.3at

The crestron website only mentions IEEE 802.3af ???

    • are you out completely now? any chance you can add more to the ebay listings?

      • Out now, mate, they were Ozbargined.

  • Cool, didn't know this type of devices exist. Very handy if you just need to power 1 device, especially at this price.

Obviously you can use multiple of them but a PoE switch would be neater.

  • OOS :(

    • +3

Not oos . See @Calmago comment "We have a lot in stock, so it's probably going to go in and out of stock as we can only list a maximum of 100 on eBay due to syncing." Unless of course it is fully oos

  • Back in stock

  • Ahh, was looking for these but due to the price I ended up getting this POE switch
    TP-Link 9-Port 10/100Mbps Desktop Switch with 8-Port PoE+, Plug and Play, Auto Recovery, Silent Operation (LS109P) https://amzn.asia/d/7WvEVCt

    • +2

it depends on your use case, but 8 discrete PoE injectors would have almost double the power budget. I think a switch is a neater option though if you don't need the juice

  • Odd request but anyone aware of a POE injector that takes 12v as an input to then output standard 48v 802.3af active POE?

    • Not an odd request, I had the same dilemma a while back. I ended up getting a 12v to 48v step up converter and a tenda 5 port poe+ switch

      • Same I got a 12-48V boost converter and 4 port POE switch to run Starlink in the caravan with a fail over 5G router, cut up the dish and mounted it on the roof.

  • OOS for real now? 😭

  • OOS again

  • +1

    10BaseT/100BaseTX Ethernet port;

    • Go for the slightly more expensive Gigabit AMX one then.
