  • Nice find Penguin cheers!

Doesn't come with an additional power adaptor, but has a port that you can plug into should you wish to add power.

Got one earlier this week, good USB 3.0 speeds.

Just to note that this is a clearance item so stock may be light. Attempted an online C&C order last night, got cancelled and refunded this morning.

Most likely they just cbf finding the one or so available.

  • Would recommend

I have one of these C-plug hubs connected to a 3.2 port and one of the A-plug hubs connected to that - a printer, external HDD, dongles and a fan all plugged in to the hubs with no issues and no additional power connected

  • Oh ffs I just got one of these yesterday

    • Return it

yeah way to much effort there

    • Been this price for a long time so you would have paid the same?

      • Didnt buy from Kmart bought from amazon (and not exactly the same product, but I needed an older style hub)

  • Does it have pass through power via USBC input and can I use it to plug peripherals into Chromecast?

    • No passthrough power as it doesn't have female USB C ports, all 4 are USB A. You could power it via the 1.5(?)mm tiny barrel jack plug but Chromecasts are notoriously picky about having a compatible power supply so that likely wouldn't work either.

Something like this should work but it is 20 bucks instead of $4.

      • I find that Chromecasts aren't that fussy as long as you haven enough power delivered from the socket - thats why they are a bit spotty to use with usb ports in back of tv.

  • Your experience may differ but this hub fried my father-in-law's keyboard and mouse after 5 minutes. Questionable quality. (USB-C to USB-A)

Get Orico or baseus brand hubs instead…

  • Nice find Lucky Penguin, grabbed a couple and its nice compact unit that'll stop me having to swap USB devices all the time.

Ordered C&C from a nearby Kmart showing 1 in stock, recieved an Auspost notification of a package being sent from Kmart VIC to my Kmart QLD store. I've requested a redirect direct to my address so will see what turns up.
