The Spicy is the original flavour of aunty Kim's beef jerky range! Handmade with real prime-cut beef for protein, lemongrass and garlic for aroma, and chilli and Vietnamese herbs for spice.

The deep-fried sesame beef jerky is an original recipe made by Aunty Kim using Vietnamese traditional methods. The beef jerky is deep-fried with sesame seeds making them give off a full-bodied wood flavour. Combined with fresh Vietnamese herbs, garlic, onion and sugar, it gives its spicy (mild), sweet and aromatic taste. The jerky is then hand dabbed to remove oil and then further prepared. In summary, it takes a long time to make, but the flavours are totally worth it.

  Works out alright at $125/kg of jerky. Thats around $42/kg of raw beef.

  Off topic: The Vietnam map on the label doesn't include Paracel and Spratly Islands which Vietnam strongly claims in the dispute with China/Taiwan and others countries in SE Asia. This brand/product would be banned if advertised in Vietnam so I guest only for overseas. The owner(s) of this brand (presumably with Vietnamese ancestry) is/are not living in Vietnam for quite sometime or they are not.

  After seeing this post, I ordered 2 packs of jerkey. It has been a week now. Now updates on the delivery or shipping.
  I login to byauntykim.com website and under my account, it is empty. no order, no subscription. Not trace of my order and transaction. Money has already been deducted.

    Hi, we make to order so that you receive the freshest Vietnamese beef jerky. It's also hand made. Sorry about the delay. It usually takes us 3 days to make a batch then shipping takes approximately a week. So you should receive your beef jerky soon.

    The accounts only work for subscription customers.

    You should have received an email with the tracking number by auspost in the email used at checkout .Please email [email protected] so that we can investigate further.
