              @Apostle0748: I made carts at multiple stores and checked out in quick succession. I did a similar thing when doordash had their $1 deals; if I took too long (few minutes) to check out then the promo would end and the prices would revert to normal.

                  @Craze: If by locked you mean that the promo is saved to the cart, then ye. I just checked out all my carts one after the other and the promos were already applied.

                  Honestly it took me a few minutes to check them all out anyway since I was at work. If your promo immediately disappears after your initial order it could just be shitty luck :/

          The vibe seems to be that the stores have a quota. So even if people tell you a particular restaurant it's gonna be real hard to know if you can't see it because you don't get the offers or if it's because they've hit their quota for that day.

          The best advice I can give is be ready to go at 3:00:01 pm, search the name of the product as you've been doing and look for those tags that say the restaurant has a deal

            1 sec past 3pm I searched schnitzel. Filter those with offers. Check each shop that deliver, none.

            Hence I'm asking for example of shop that do offer the deal.

    Got a few orders in at 87-97c delivered for schnitzel and chips + cannoli thanks to $5 off store voucher.

    One other for Jamie Oliver schnitzel (no chips or salad!) and a can of drink.. $6 delivered. Not the best but thought I’d try it.

    Seems like there's just too much demand for chicken schnitties, all the restaurants in my area removed their chicken schnitzel deals about 3:20. I even got my order made around 3:10 cancelled.

      I do wonder if Uber gives them the heads up they are doing this. Or if they suddenly just get tens to hundreds of orders out of nowhere. If the staff don't know I imagine some think it is a glitch/scam and that's why they cancel/stop them.

        the stores opt in and have a quota that uber covers at the 1 dollar. the deals disappear on the uber page once the dollar deal is depleted. hence my above comment - if you want a deal, order at 3 on the dot

        The restaurant I just picked my schnitty up from was so delayed that I got mine only like 10 mins ago, apparently the story is that they didn't know of this deal happening today and were flooded with over 60 schnitzel orders in 2 hours so while they may have to opt-in maybe some stores have terrible managers so all the staff are left gobsmacked

    Wish I lived at my old address had the fancy restaurants with $40+ snittys nearby, most of these ones were the regular ~$20 ones.

      From experience with the other deals this week I think it times out ~20minutes or so after you make the first order. They disappeared for me 20 minutes after they went live today, if you want multiples have to order em quickly.

    I just checked a few sundae photos in Uber Eats and it's nothing like those from Maccas
    Some of them cost over $20.

    Picked up a schnitzel and it was chaos, apparently they got 50+ orders in 20 mins and they had no idea why… I felt sorry for the poor restaurant, they said they had no warning from Uber Eats at all.

    Tasty but very sad, underportioned schnitty meal.. I would be livid if I paid $24 normal price (doesn’t even come with a salad) but for less than a dollar I’ll let it slide. Schnitzel the size of my Palm and a small scoop of chips. Won’t be ordering from them again though.

    Had a really nice BBQ parma (cheese, bacon, bbq sauce) and chips for $1.97. Have a schnitzel burger being delivered for lunch tomorrow and since it has some lettuce, it counts as a salad for health reasons.

      The $1 deals aren't advertised within UberEats. You have to manually search for the item and check stores for their presence. The deals also start at 3PM and normally exceeds its redemption limit within 10 minutes.

    Blast - all the sundaes in my area are priced around $7-14. Makes the $1 deals fairly bad because you get hit with the low value cart and delivery fees.
