      Those who were targeted managed to get it. I've been uber one member for a long time. Then the stores that have it, appear to be randomly closed, but others claim on the app it is open..

      Doesn't seem to be targeted. If you are on an Uber One trial, seems you are just tied to the old Uber One terms at sign up till end of the trial.

    Can order the 1$ deal from each restraunt offering it. From 3 restraunts I got all up 4 fish, 3 chips, drink, potato scallops, some lemon wedges total cost of $8 including fees.

        Nah, all delivery. If the normal price of the item is over $20 it cuts the service fee and delivery is free despite the fact it only cost $1.

        Don't know if that will apply everywhere but did for the places I ordered from (live in Coomera on gold coast)

    I never had the banner on my account. I redeemed the offer through a url someone put on here and it said offer claimed. However it has not had any $1 deals on any of the days even after checking heaps of stores in the category and searching chicken, fish etc. Some accounts are clearly not able to access this offer even after doing the above.

      Lol. Sounds like another one of those tricks they use to block you from the offer.

      I'm a big user of Uber rides and spent ~$3000 per year and they blocked me from buying from my local chicken store. Idiots, they have lost me as a customer if that is true.

      I still haven't confirmed if morphio was lying, but I suspect if he wasn't that means they are arbitrarily blocking users from utilising the offer.

    Did well with the pack I ordered - included a piece of fish, dim sim, potato cake, chips, slice of lemon and a can of coke.
    Normal price was over $20, so didn't need to add anything to trigger free delivery.

    Ordered from a place that the fish and chips was over $20, so covered the delivery fee. Got the suggested "add from these stores" prompt and picked up another $1 fish n chips (which was $16 and I would have paid the delivery if it was a standalone order). Love it!
    Noticed that most of the Perth stores have switched orders off, guessing they got slammed.

      best to wait till the deal start and then search for acai in uber eats. Then filter by offers only. Open any stores that have "save on selected items" or any stores that have "x offers available" and then you see if they have $1 item.

      Yes but there is still service fee, so usually around $1.90-$2 in total.

    On Tuesday one of the restaurants cancelled my order because they were out of stock. I simply left a reply saving "that sucks, it was a $1 deal"

    Today I got this email

        I just clicked on the part that says "message from Uber Driver." You may also be able to click on Help and look at cancelled orders and write it in the chat there.

        It should be in support messages.

              @Meshgoji: Thanks for the double check! No it was not there, I just logged in on desktop and no luck either. I knew it was cancelled because there was a popup banner on my phone telling me "your order from xxx is cancelled etc…" but when it directed me to the app nothing was there, just like I have never ordered before. The only record I have is my bank transaction record. I hope Uber will give me a refund at least.
