    I had the banner originally to claim the deal, but its now gone. But searching for Acai and going into stores and checking, they have the offer in there. Ordered a few that were more than $20 to get the free delivery as well. Got some for tonight for the wife and I and for breakfast tomorrow morning.

    Slim pickings for Acai bowls around or above $20 for West Adelaide. Got one that was over $20, and another for $15.50 so I added $4.50 of extras to get free delivery. Only other ones I found was a kids Acai bowl for $8 and an Acai smoothie but it wouldn't' let me order it.

            @deal-cracker: Possibly too slow. I think that's the one I ordered. These offers disappear pretty quick, it pays to search and order ASAP, start looking at 2.30 on the dot, check all search results for special for $1 and order any and all that were originally $20+ to get free delivery. If you can't find any or want more food then order some others that are a bit below $20 and add something to make the total order value just above $20.

        Yeh but once stores are closed on uber eats you can't get the offer. Since the cafes near me closed at 3pm then the offer couldn't be claimed, not even for another day :(

    I added to the card then it says item unavailable when i wanted to pay then i removed it and went to find another one. Then it says maximum limits reached.

    Ordered 2 for scheduled delivery later, both went through and pre-authorised payment from PayPal.

    Went back to check on orders page, edit orders. Both places have removed the Acai bowl and I get prompted to add something else.

    The order totals for both are now over $20 each delivered despite having no items in the order.

    What happens next? I get credited? I get charged $20 for a latte?

    Got 4 again, first time trying an acai bowl. Not bad, although I probably won't ever have one again unless a similar deal pops up.

    You've obviously got to get in pretty quick to nab them; about 10 minutes after my last order (3:08pm), there were none left to be seen in my vicinity.

      When I picked up my fish and chips yesterday, the owners didn't know about the promo and were surprised at the weird amount of orders. I explained it to them, and they were again surprised as the docket was showing the normal prices. So hopefully it's just Uber subsidising the promo.

    This is the first time I tried Acai Bowl. I liked it but not sure whether I'm willing to pay the full price.

    I found that adding the acia bowls to the cart the day before from places that offered uber one, and just checking at 3pm on the day and removing the ones that were not $1, the quickest way to order. Try it for tomorrows schnitzel from your local pub.

    I just want to share my experience.

    I noticed that the amount is deducted from the Uber cash balance straight after the order is placed. But it doesn't show up on the transaction LIST until it's delivered.
    So, for the canceled/missing orders, I have to ask the support team to add the amount back. I think I have to use a spreadsheet and keep track of it because their transaction list does not show everything. What a waste of time.

    Not sure whether other people have the same experience or it's just me. Is it automatically added back to your Uber Cash balance straight after the order is canceled/missing? Do you check your Uber Cash balance before and after placing the order? And do you check whether the amount is added back once the order is canceled?

      I've had the same thing. Money deducted from uber cash on Nov 30. It's been over two weeks now and still waiting for them to credit it back… The help function has not been helpful so far.

            @fLaMePrO: Filter down to Uber one and it’s the ones that have a brown tag that says “save on select items”. It’s schnitzels from pubs so won’t be everywhere that sells schnitzels.

      I don't think that's it cos I don't see the promo in the app either. You just have to manually search for Schnitzel etc and hit each store to see if they offer the $1 promo. Usually the $1 item shows up at the top.
