Fear not, as it's the silly season, FTA TV is showing one James Bond film per night until the New Year…..

      • Pretty sure no sane person actually watches anything on FTA anymore. And surely even crazy people wouldn't watch movies on FTA (probably: cropped, edited, censored, ad breaks, channel logos in the corner, etc).

Available from Amazon UK currently… but incomplete set, ends with Spectre (#24).

And that's the way it should be.

The discs for the Daniel Craig films make great drink coasters.

Saving them for the Pierce Brosnan films instead.

Goldeneye was the best bond film and thats a hill I will die on

        • +3

Give Goldeneye a David Arnold soundtrack and then you'd have the best Bond film… I love Goldeneye too but every time I watch it the soundtrack takes me out of it. Tomorrow Never Dies on the other hand - one of the best soundtracks ever.

          • +1

@mingofmongo: Tomorrow Never Dies is comfortably Brosnan's best.

            • @diamondd: Each to their own of course but I find this hard to comprehend.

        • username… relevant… (perfect dark being the spiritual successor to goldeneye on the 64…)

        • I have the Goldeneye pinball machine. :)

    • Craig is considered one of the best…. Brosnan is considered worse than him. I like both.

      • Craig is at the bottom of the list and its not his fault, great Bond terrible writing

      • Snort. By who?!
Daniel Craig is easily the worst Bond and everybody knows it in their heart. He was terribly miscast right from the start, and despite two-thirds of Casino Royale being a decent and fun movie - it was all downhill from there. Quantum was shaky cam trash, Skyfall was a poor dark knight clone with plot holes you could drive a subway train through, Spectre was boring and banal - seriously whose idea was brofeld? - and NTTD was an abomination - easily the most despised Bond film of all time. Most Bonds fans wish it was never even made - including myself!
And throughout all of those last four films, Daniel Craig just mopes around pouting and frowning. “Oh woe is me, being an international playboy super spy is so emotionally haaaard ngggh”.

History will not be kind to Daniel Craig’s Bond. He left the franchise in a worse state than any of the previous Bond actors have.

        • interesting, well I always wanted to say I kinda liked Brosnan more, but thought most people would laugh histerically at me for that. That said I didn't mind Craig's films, but I think you're right, i never revist them, except for Skyfall, so you could have a point

    Cheaper on dvd $59.38

Even cheaper on VHS at my local Salvos

These are all on Prime Video in 4K after Bezos bought MGM.

They kind of ruined it for me with killing off Bond just to satisfy Daniel Craig's ego.

    • i thought it was for the best, i liked the old 'james bond is a codename' theory and craigs bond literally been shown to be legally named james bond was just… off

      • +1

the old "james bond is a codename" theory is a bad joke for Johnny-come-latelies that flies in the face of everything that was established between Fleming's first book and Die Another Day.

        • count me in the 98% of bond fans that havnt read the original books i guess

    • Had nothing to do with Craig,

"No Time to Die' Producer Says Phoebe Waller-Bridge Helped Shape 'Whole Plot'"

He just collected his large pay and left, was totally over the role.

      • Wrong - Daniel Craig has been the driving force behind the intention to kill off Bond since Quantum.

It was Daniel Craig who suggested to Barbara Broccoli that they bring in PWB to do the deed.

        • It was time for Bond to die. Better to preserve what’s left of the legacy than have the character increasingly debased. After all, we have several classic films to enjoy with Connery et al that were closer to the original.

Though that’s unlikely to mean the end of the franchise of course, too profitable to kill it off completely, so he’ll be ‘reinvented’ to fit into today’s world: https://uk.movies.yahoo.com/james-bond-26-007-cast-rumours-r…

Missing the last Craig film which is kinda needed

    • +1

It's really not, worse film ever made

  • The annoying thing about these is they’re outdated as soon as a new one hits Bluray

  • Back in the early days of DVD I won 18 Bond movies on VHS. I manage to offload them for $270.
