Going to be Gangnam Styling it up this year. By then it'll be like the macarena though… a 2012 thing. Woop Madeon.

    • Apparently Madeon isn't going to be live though…how the hell does that work!?

Had a decent squiz and can't seem to find the diff between the regular tix and VIP usually it is your own drinks line, chill out area, view of main stage so that when its full you can still watch headliners and the big one separate toilets to the average punter?

I cant go but I'm sure others would like to know the diff.

    • found this on their facebook page:

      FMF VIP Tickets include;
      •Express entry into the event
      •Designated VIP area
      •VIP viewing deck (excludes Adelaide)
      •VIP bar & toilet facilities
•FMF VIP lanyard with set times & map

      FMF First Class (Melbourne & Sydney only) include;
      •Express Entry into the Event
•Double Storey enclosed Marquee overlooking the main stage
•Interior with all the First Class comforts
•First Class Bar with a premium drink selection, including cocktails

2 years ago, someone sold me & my mate their VIP wristbands for $30 each when we were inside the event. We ended up almost spending the entire event in the VIP area (in Sydney) on the balcony chilling out. There was never a wait at the bar or the toilets up there. I'd say it's worth the $55.

  • What happens if you need to sell your ticket?

  • its $5 to change the name of the ticket, so no worries if you need to sell it on later

"This line up is more Mainstream than Future!"

    ~ THE STONE ROSES?
~ Special Guest PSY (Gangnam Style)???
    ~ Dizzee Rascal?
    ~ Bloc Party?
    ~ Rita Ora?
    ~ The Temper Trap?
    ~ FUN?
    ~ Azealia Banks???
    ~ Ellie Goulding?

    • Ellie Goulding rocks!

  • Mine came to $145 after it adds $10 worth of payment processing fees and handling fees, so isn't that the same price? Or will tickets be $145+bf at regular pricing? This was Perth though, which uses Ticketmaster not Moshtix.

    • you had to use the links at the bottom of the page.. the link at the top was changed by a mod and is $10 extra

      • If you use the direct link to Moshtix, and enter the coupon code it ends up with the same price as the affiliate link. Also, that comment applies to your affiliate link which was intact when the above comment was made.

These are (unmentioned) affiliate rates, not "industry" rates!

    http://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:deal_posting_guideline…

    • As the OP stated, there is no way to get these ticket prices without going through futurefans.com. I tried going to moshtix and entered futurefans as the code and it doesn't work. OP did the right thing by declaring the link. If there is an alternative way of buying these tickets at these prices then let us know. Please use the report button in future and not a negative vote.

      • futurefans (all lower case) works as the offer code but you need to use a different id if going to moshtix directly….. (e.g for Melbourne go to http://www.moshtix.com.au/event.aspx?id=60795 … if you go via moshtix it will use id 60909). The negative vote was for lying (they're not "industry rates") and he was also reported for not explaining the affiliation.

        • I went to Moshtix, found the event which is at this link.

I enter futurefans and get this:

The offer code you have entered is not recognised.

Do you have a direct link where it works?

        • Sure, see my latest comment.

        • OK, fixed up.

        • Thanks. Can we also kill the "industry rates" mention? It's totally incorrect and misleading.

        • well they arnt the presale rate either?

just bought my tix through the link. i know its an affiliate but it was easy and saved me cash, so win win. thanks op.

    • thank you for recognising that

"industry rates" normally means free and maybe even includes a guest laminate if you know the right people. But this is a worthy deal for those not in the industry.
