Hi OzBargainers. Thought we'd make a sale here following the huge success of our last couple promotions, where we received hundreds of orders over the course of our 24 hour sale.

1kg of Whey Protein Isolate will cost only $25. Australia wide shipping is $9.95, flat rate.

Flavours available are chocolate, vanilla, banana, strawberry, choc-mint, choc-honeycomb, choc-coconut, choc-orange, choc-cherry, choc-peanut butter, coffee and mango.

A great price considering Max's WPI costs $70 for 1kg (http://www.mrsupplement.com.au/maxs-wpi), Vital Strength's costs $68 for 1kg (http://www.mrsupplement.com.au/vital-strength-wpi-plus), and BSc's costs $65 for 900g (http://www.mrsupplement.com.au/bsc-body-science-wpi).

Besides whey protein isolate, the only other ingredient we use is flavouring (and cocoa for chocolate-based flavours) which is limited to 0.5%. Australia-wide shipping comes at a flat-rate cost of $9.95.

Feel free to email our staff with any questions, [email protected].

It's actually a product of the USA, says so on the bag I have here.

The price is good, but I find it doesn't mix quite as well as some other brands I've tried.

        United States of Australia

  • how many serving per for the 1kg Flavoured Whey Protein Isolate?

    • 40g servings, so 25 per 1kg WPI.

      • that's good, how many grams protein?

        • Non-chocolated based flavours - 37.2g of protein per 40g serving.
For chocolate based flavours, you're looking at between 36g-37.2g of protein per 40g serving.

        • 93g per 100g. or 23.25g per serve.
My bad, thought it was 25g per serve

remember i ordered the sample pack of few flavours….didnt like any
    the wpi mixes well thou..

    • +1

I ordered some sample packets a while back also….. They had a very subtle taste. Like the choc-honeycomb was VERY subtle, with not much honeycomb and the choc mint was very minty with not much choc. However when I purchased a few kg's of them they tasted very different. Much better infact (Honeycomb was fantastic tasting and choc mint was much better also). So I wouldn't really judge them on the samples as I don't think the samples properly reflect how they actually taste. I have no idea why though…..

      • quality control.

      • +4

        You buying protein or milkshake?

      • Agree Choc-Honeycomb rocks!

    • i got 5kg from them a while back and can say that the choc mint flavour is the second worst protein powder i have ever tasted, and their choc orange is the worst i have ever tasted. They are both really really disgusting. hvaing said that the choc honeycomb is very nice, one of the better ones i have tasted and i haven't tried the other two yet. in short buy with caution.

      • Actually I really liked the choc-mint when I bought a kg of it! It leaves a cold fresh aftertaste. Its more of a eucalyptus mint though, not like spearmint or peppermint…

I'll agree on the choc-orange though. That's the one flavour I didn't like.

  • I'm looking at getting another batch of the hydrolised whey protein…any chance of a sale for that (i feel like it works much better as opposed to this wpi)..

    • +3

Not at the moment, but I'll be damned if you found it cheaper anywhere else! $40 for 1kg, $165 for 5kg, packaged in 1kg bags so you're able to select a different flavour per kilogram of HWP. If you can find it cheaper anywhere else, link us to that price and we'll do our best to beat it

      • id be interested in purchasing another batch of 4-5kg just like last time, it would just make it more enticing if they were slightly discounted i suppose!

Dagnammit - half way through checkout and the price flips after I entered shipping details.

    O well, $200 saved I guess :(

  • +1

I was just putting my credit card details in and the order went up to $31.99 per kg :(

I spent 5 minutes mucking around because I couldn't remember my log in details, gave up, made a new account and then it ended…

Any chance this could be repeated/extended rep?

    • +1

Yeah, I'm in the same boat, I was grabbing a few other things thinking what was in my cart was going to stay the same price :(

I was planning on buying one of each flavour.

  • +1

    :(

  • +3

    Aw..

For those that missed out, I'll arrange to have the deal reopened at 6pm today for TEN MINUTES. So that's 6pm AEST - 6:10pm AEST, where 1kg WPI will be available to purchase for $25/kg.

  • Superstar, thanks - will go fill up the cart again :)

  • Thanks rep!!!

Has anyone tried choc-coconut or choc-peanut butter? I've tried the chocolate and like it, but trying to decide which new other flavors to try…

  • Damn, just missed out -_-

    Edit: Just bought one, Thanks!!!

  • Wait hang on.

Since your store is in NSW and guessing from the times and expiry listed in the original add, are you sure it's AEST? Should it not be AEDT?

(It's currently not yet even 5.30pm AEST so the original deal should not have expired).

    Please confirm.

    • +1

Hi, Yes AEDT - we made a typo but that's been fixed :) Deal reopened for another 10 minutes till 6:10pm AEDT

  • Choc Honeycomb is pretty much the bets tasting protein I have had EVER. If you want to try out a flavour, it must be choc-honeycomb

I have studied Dairy science and people don't realise how cheap powdered whey protein is! Whey Protein is basically leftovers from Milk which manufacturers now have repackaged the whey protein with some flavourings and then sell at a premium! Whey Protein powders is one of the biggest cons out there!

    • +1

      Your point being?

    • +4

Got to love the " I studied 'insert field', so I know what I'm talking about" routine on the internet

      • Mate I got a Masters Degree in Science and it was well known in my department that most of the cost protein powders have been massively marked up. You are better off buying direct off a manufacturer. People might think this a good deal but the OP is still making money on this.

        • +3

I would hope that they are making money, what kind of business would they be if they weren't? Come on guy, you can't attack them for giving the people what they want, whilst keeping their business running at the same time

    • +5

yeah ill just extract my own protein from my milk then….Ive been buying protein for a while and i never knew i could do it myself so easily!

      • THEY'RE MILKING RATS

    • +2

Bottled water is a con, but last time I checked there was a whole aisle full of it at the supermarket. What's your point?

    • hey, I have studied bargain science, and people don't realise how cheap No Bull powdered whey protein is. You will not find cheaper 93% WPI in Australia

  • +2

damn! missed out due to work!

  • :( missed out. Was going to buy another 5kg, down to my last kg

  • Damn…I too am on my last kg of my last 5 kg purchase! grr

  • has anyone had experience with their creatine?

    any input?

  • Just lucked out as well by a few minutes.. almost all out as well.

astherushcomes - never tried their creatine but I usually go with Bulk Nutrients Creatine Mono 1kg for $19 also buy my amino acids from there.

  • +5

Aww man. Rep, a deal for only one hour? :( :(

I really wanted to get in on this.

  • +1

I missed out too :( I ran out of WPI this week and I was actually looking to stock up again. This would have been perfect!

I've bought from these guys twice before and they are really good. First time they sent me the wrong size shirt and when I let them know they chucked in 2 free shirts (correct size) with my next order. My favourite flavours are choc coconut and choc honeycomb. Worst flavour without a doubt is coffee IMO (then again I'm not a fan of coffee in general).

Hope they can have another sale!

    • +1

amen to that, my coffee flavour has been around for ages. I put it in a sealed bag and use it sparingly when I need to taste something bitter.

  • Have been curious to try. Never used anything like this. Would have given it a go but 1hr was just too short.

  • Went ahead with my order anyway as I am on my last 250g and their WPI is second to none in my opinion. Giving Choc Peanut Butter a bash this time. Choc Honeycomb is by far and away my favourite!

  • All orders should be shipped by now :) There was a 1 day delay for orders containing choc-coconut WPI as we were out of stock, so we do apologise for any inconvenience this delay may have caused.

    • Received mine today! Cheers!!
