Tried it on a 55" wall mounted tv and returned it the same day.
In fairness, i hadn't researched it and assumed it was a cut price Govee type light strip when it is in fact just the single square light.
I ended up filling my purposelessness with a Philips Ambilight Tv, and i friggin love the backlighting for Marvel type movies, and a steady light for more serious fare is also very nice.
On reflection, this would likely be effective behind a computer monitor, as long as the wall is close behind it.
