"ipad mini" announcement is expected to be 24th of october, my suggestion is just wait

    • apples and oranges comparison mate lol

    • 10" vs 7-8" form factor
Shouldnt have the much impact on this.

    • I don't think it will affect the price of the iPad. Not the same product category.

If it was Windows 8 tablet, then sure, it might cause Apple to budge on it's pricing, but it's a very slim possibility. Apple has never lowered prices just because a competitor has released a competing device on the market.

  • I will be interested to see how long it takes to be delivered to you. I got one the same from them in late August and the 'immediate stock' took 7 days just to be dispatched from their warehouse and that was only after I hassled them and threatened them. Woefully slow, but other than that I have no complaints. Do you know that they are Top Buy by the way? I didn't, and also they are based in Hong Kong. Like I said the ipad when it finally arrived, was good.

  • hey sorry if this doesn't relate, but is anyone able to tell me whether it is worth getting the iPad with 3G or not? im thinking of getting this deal, but if the 3G is better, ill find a deal with that. sorry again! just clueless with tech stuffzzz bruzz.

well, are you going to surf the internet and make phone calls with the ipad outside of your home? If so, then 3G is the way to go. If not, and it is just for personal use at home, then just get the wi-fi model.

    • If u plan to also carry an iPhone or a device able to be a portable hot spot. Then I would suggest just geeting the wifi version and tethering the iPad to the device. Save the cost of getting 3G/cellular and a 2nd data plan (assuming u already have one for your phone).

    • if you are looking to use it for any navigation purposes, you will need the 3G version as it has assisted GPS

    • aw thanks guys! shall just get the wifi i schmekon! :D
