Yup, does come with a stand
The G series has been made as the premier offering and people that buy the best tvs wall mount them 95% of the time. It is great that they have made it that the tv sits basicslly flush to the wall.
If you want a stand go for the C series. 65" C3 was under $2300 if I saw the sale correctly when it popped up in notifications today
Bought mine, it came with a stand. No extra change.

Yeah as others have said the G3 comes with both wall mount and stand in Australia.
If I recall - when the G3 first launched in Australia it indeed did not come with a stand.
Perhaps consumer affairs or some other group lobbied that in Australia TVs are expected to come with a stand and they can’t charge hundreds of dollars for a stand sold separately.

You gotta haggle mate. Straight up asked him for the best offer, initially he was hesitant but came down to $3150 with delivery, but kept asking me if I wanted anything else every time I asked for further reduction. Almost bought it but then realised I needed an Apple TV so asked him again, he wasn’t ready to negotiate on Apple and took the price of the TV down.
I’m guessing the more stuff you buy the more room they have for negotiation.
The G2 didn't come with a stand - the G3 should.
