        Lightweight baby! Aint nothing but a peanut..

        No one is using these for benching… Plenty of exercises where you would not want to be lifting heavier than these

            @frnaky: Circuits. 30 seconds to 1 minute. Try that with side laterals and feel the burn. Other exercise to try that with Hungarian split squats, push up rows, forward reach push ups, shoulder press. Shadow boxing - though 1-3kg weights more appropriate for that.

              @Goonos: circuit training makes sense, thinking about it from a strength training/weightlifting perspective.

              endurance for this makes sense, though 5kg for shoulder press and lateral raise is questionable

                @frnaky: I think circuits get overlooked for strength training/weightlifting. Bodybuilders probably can skip it. But athletes need to perform that strength over time and that's where something as innocent sounding as 5kg shoulder press can be beneficial - when done at high volumes.

    Very cheap, good for everyone but the posties who have to deliver them.

    It is odd that these deals are possible. If I were to ship 10kg of dumbbells to someone, it would cost a lot more than $10 for shipping alone.

    For your older more discerning ozbargainer who needs to do lots of reps , and yes a starter weight , I think I’ll grab a kettle weight too or just cancel t dumbbell order .
    OOS while writing this , may have to tape original dumbbell order together .
