R. M. Williams Craftsman (Dark Tan) $389 Shipped (Was $649) @ David Jones

750

Looks like DJ have started their sale early. Great price for these boots and worth having another pair. Note these are the leather sole ones. The comfort and dynamic flex still appear at full price for now.

This is part of Boxing Day Sales for 2023

Looks like only tan colour is this price?

    • You are right - the reduced price shows up, but then changes when a size is selected on brown/black. I'll update the deal.

    • Yeah, and only odd sizes left - 7, 11, 12.

Also all of those sizes are G fit only (F = Narrow; G = Regular; H = Wide).

    • Can't see it anymore

  • Good deal unfortunately not my size

  • Needem 8H

  • Soo good but no h fit :(

  • Dam need a size 8 to add to my rm collection

  • Would love a pair but unsure what my exact size would be

Go to the shops and try it on and ask the people who work there size it for you. Then you can buy online. It helped a great deal

    Only 12G left I think

  • Thanks OP! Looks like I was too late - the dark tan isn't showing up anymore as a colour option 😕

You waited over a year since joining for this to be your first comment? 😅

Ugly is not a reason to downvote. Read the rules.

        Also very subjective…

Dark Tan one of the best colours IMO

  • What salary are you guys on to be able to afford these?

    • +2

Usually ppl with lower income buy them on CC or payment plan 😉

    • You can wear these for the rest of your life hence they work out cheaper.

But a $30 pair at Kmart and get back to us in 3 months.

      • If you have them serviced by RM rather than a generic cobbler they don't work out too much cheaper. A big advantage is not having to shop for new shoes and break them in every year.

  • Considering replacing the soles would be $250 through them, this is a deal.

Is it just me, or are leather soles just slippery?

    • Agree. Have had many sketchy slips in the CBD

      • Great to know I'm not the only one.

      Hi sh4hp,

Actually if you just want to replace the soles via RM Williams take it to any store (including outlets) and they will send it away to Adelaide free of charge. It cost only $160 to change my worn leather tread on my dynamic flexs to the super dooper non slip rubber soles 6 weeks ago. They also cleaned up the boots, polished the leather and replaced the inner soles as well. The boots were posted back to my home address. I thought that wasn't a bad price, obviously more if they replace the inners as well.

Yes…. Worn leather soles are death lol

        Thanks for the share.

The store I asked quoted $250 for leather soles, so not sure if that is just Chadstone mark up or the rubber soles go for $160. Wouldn't mind either way. Rubber sounds like the better alternative for me.

        • Same here, I just took my cracked leather sole to be replaced by rubber. $165 but it takes 8-10 weeks due to backlog.

          • @tjioer: Both times I got mine done (2 pairs) it took less than 5 weeks. This time of year too, I think they just do the 8 to 10 weeks timeline to cover themselves

        • Ok i took mine to Southwharf outlet store and just asked for the soles to be done (I did specify only the soles). Good luck

    • Take the shoes into a cobbler and get Topy's put on them
Topy's will protect the leather soles from wear and also provide a bit more grip whilst keeping the leather sole profile

  • Are RMs in UK or US sizing?

  • Tan in size 9G and 12G are back in stock!
