similar performance with 7700xt, with less power usage. nothing wrong with an old card.

Simpletons like you are the ones that keep allowing Nvidia to gouge us.

I remember having arguments in high school with a fellow autist who was adamant his fx5200 was faster than my ti4600, only because it was newer and a higher number.

Nevertheless, I’m sure he enjoyed Natural Selection at 640x480 and 30fps none the wiser.

      • Damn, sounding like Eddy's brother a bit there.

I don't think you want peat near your video card

But the real question is can it play crysis ?

    • +1

No you need Intel Iris graphics for that

I have a 6800.. i run it at 135w Max draw (FurMark @4k) its a great card and sips power once undervulted to 940mv and 2000Mhz Core clock…(with only those two changes) power usage goes from 230w maxed out to 135w and you only lose 10%ish performance FPS :)

      Only the cool kids undervolt.

I undervolted my 6800 like vid_ghost to 900mv-940mv, but I also overclocked it to 2300-2420Mhz. It consumed from 160w-190w depending which games and performance boosted up to 8% from default.
    For example
Control is stable at 910mv, but it’s run pretty hot and consuming 190w even at 2300Mhz.
Fortnite is stable at 900mv, but it’s run cool and only consuming 170w even at 2420Mhz.
My daughter game Genshin is stable at 940mv, as the game cap at 60fps (1440p), it consumed less than 100w at 2300Mhz (even at max settings, only ~50% GPU utility used mostly)
My 6800 stock boost clock is 2280Mhz, but every card is different. You need to play the settings to your flavour. I think 950mv with your card stock boost clock is your good starting point if you interested in undervolt.
I am surprised the price didn’t drop much as I paid less than $700 14-15 months ago.
