Got this email from Centrecom today. Half Price Seagate External HDD. Have been looking for one cheap. Think this is a fairly good price.

The title on the link says USB 3.0 but the product description only says USB 2.0

Price per gigabyte is quite comparable to 1TB disks

Googling the drive, it does appear to be a 3.0 - I wanted to confirm on the seagate website but it's being an absolute pig for some reason, slow to load and won't return search results, at least not for me but the link to seagate - which doesn't want to work for me - seems to show it as USB 3.0

The physical dimesions/specs given from their website sounds rather big for a portable drive 141 x 80 x 17.6 mm

Bought a Western Digital MyPassport 1tb usb 3.0 from amazon.com for $89 plus $8 delivery to australia last week. Was delivered in 3 days. They come in different colours too.
For all those after this, FYI. I asked JB if they would price match/beat, they have it down to $69.00 and wouldn't touch the $49.00 price.
Price per gigabyte is quite comparable to 1TB disks, but it does lack USB 3.0. Good deal though if you don't need the extra space.
