Price and store in title pls 😊

  • Is 36v 5Ah equivalent to 18v 10Ah?

    • Ryobi tools will only take either 36v or 18v.

It's more about the power behind it than the runtime, although the runtime is increased. 36v is mostly for garden equipment and heavy duty stuff like the pressure washers.

    • Should be, yes. Wh would be a better measurement for batteries

Batteries should ALWAYS be in watt hours.
Voltage is also import to know, but AmpHours is pretty useless for comparing unless all other parameters match.

Voltage is needed to be known for compatibility with a tool.
Wh is the way to compare capacity / run time.

        A bigger deal with powerbanks.

  • Limited edition batteries. We're so far beyond the pale…

The sale is the limited part.

    Thanks OP. Needed this.

    • Why not use a ratler with brush attachments?

    • No

Jimmy, those use the 18+ (18v) battery.
      They're generally lighter batteries too.

This 36v battery deal is bigger, heavier, and won't fit the 18+ components

    • I want to see I Did A Thing rig up 36v batteries to everything and see what happens

    • No. That takes an 18v battery. Look for Ryobi 18v battery.

If you have a drill, you can buy Ryobi drill brush set and use it with your drill.

I went to grab this from my local bunnings the other day. They couldn't find it even though stock said they had 30. They ended up selling me 2x 6ah for $350 (total) as they couldnt be bothered searching for them any further :)

  • I bought a pack but will just need one battery. So if you are near by Preston VIC, and want to grab one from me for $149.5, just send me a message

Thanks man. My 5ah battery died. I missed the 4ah twin battery desk and was kicking myself. You made my Xmas.

  • Does anyone want to split a battery in Sydney hurstville area for $150? Send me a msg. I've already purchased

  • Does anyone know if the 5Ah batteries will fit in the 46cm 36V mower

    https://www.bunnings.com.au/ryobi-36v-46cm-4-0ah-brushless-c…

I think the worry is whether the battery compartment will close with the bigger physical size

    • All the 36v batteries are the same size I think

      • There was a comment in a 6Ah battery thread about needing an adapter to lift the lid for a mower that originally came with a 4Ah.

        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/13695675/redir

I'm just not sure if the same applies for using a 5Ah on my mower mentioned above. Did the 5Ah fit your tools (and what were the battery sizes that came with them)?

  • Ordered one of these yesterday and had it delivered today.
I didn't think the 5.0 A were a thing any more, I thought only numbers divisible by 2.0 A for the battery due to some change in cell technology.
The ones that arrived today were manufactured in 2023.
I tried to get more but sold out near me now.
They get a 3 year plus 2 year extended warranty on the My Ryobi site too now, so 5 years all up.
    Bargain!
