  The concept is OK, the signup is very average.. the app doesn't retain your answers on iOS so if you need get a photo etc and open it again you need to enter them all again, it has mandatory phone number, date of birth including exact date (which shouldn't be required these days given all the data breaches, companies should know better). It has mandatory facial verification of the photo.

  Probably more annoyances past that point, but I gave up at that stage and deleted it.

    Thanks for your feedback. This issue is currently been looked at but please be patient as it is just me working on this after my work normal work hours. The mandatory properties will remain though to avoid bots signing up giving users a genuine experience with others.

      That's understandable and happy to help. It's probably easier when you can sign up and progressively turn these things on once your profile is created. You could still stop the profiles from being displayed etc to protect the platform, but it allows the user to complete the signup and then they can become compliant.

      Considering you're asking for the full date of birth, mobile phone, email and photo of the user, how will these details be used, stored and protected?

        ok thanks. Yeah this process was used based on other apps but your suggestion makes sense to onboard users faster. I will look into giving this a better UX overall. All data is store on the backend and not accessible without a token. All data is kept with on the platform and never sent to any outside apis.

    Monetising can come from the events/restaurant themselves, including a cut of anyone who signs up to an event through the app.
