These went faster than Aussie top order batsmen to left arm inswingers last time.

For the i9 deals, we've managed to secure more CPUs and the Asus Prime Z790-P WiFi motherboard this time, and Antec Vortex 360mm coolers. For the 7800X3D 4090 deal, we've listened to some feedback and included the 240mm liquid cooler and added a WiFi 6 USB WiFi adapter, for the same price. If you bought the previous 7800X3D 4090 deal, you can request these upgrades at no charge if you want them/refund the upgrades if you paid for them, by emailing [email protected] with your order details.

Again all for delivery in Jan - these will ship after the first batch are completed.

      Hi mate,

Nothing confirmed just yet but we will keep this in mind for upcoming deals.

      • Much appreciated

  • hey @luketechfast, I sent you guys a message about our our PA using the wrong CC. Can you please check your emails and let me know if it's possible?

    Thanks mate,

    Hi @luketechfast
We ordered one of these PCs on Dec 26th and received a "thanks for your order" email and payment processed.
    Nothing since.
Please contact me as per the original order email address, or the address I used as per my contact via your website last week.

    • I think Luke may have caught the sickness that he said was going around their office, haven't seen him reply for a few days?

I understand the Boxing Day orders were getting prepped first before they move into the next promotion, but they may be operating on limited staff and building computers and testing them takes a lot of time.

An update would be good, if only to reassure everyone who's ordered, that builds are underway.

And get well soon, you lot!

      • I'm also in the same boat with a boxing day order.
I'm a bit itchy from excitement, worry and definitely too damn spoilt by Amazon Prime.

Didn't realise they had the sickness going around, hope they get well and we hear from them soon.

    Hi Luke,

I placed an order in on the 1st of Jan, just wondering when the orders will be processed. I have sent an email to the techfast sales email address but have yet to receive a reply.

  • People who bought the 4090/7800x3d, did it come with MSI Mag 100 or Mag 112R case?

    • Hasn't arrived yet but I went up to the Antec case because MSI's cheap and nasty looking logo reminds me of a Ferrari logo from wish.com… I can't stand to look at the logo on cases, they look cheap (though I'm sure they're good enough cases).

  • Has anyone received their build yet? Mine has finally changed to picked, but nothing beyond that for a few days.

Ordered on 26/12. 4090 build. Status still on Order Placed. Local Adelaide pickup. The wait would be brutal if you were on annual leave waiting for a PC.
I am overdue for a PC upgrade. But I probably would have reconsidered my purchase if I knew it was likely going to be a 4 week wait.

      • +1

This one will be ready for pickup Monday, apologies for the delay.

      • What was your build before you opted to upgrade? I would've liked a bit of a better feel for how long it was going to take from the get-go, also.

I had thought there'd be scarcity as some of the builds were crossed-out… Giving TF the benefit of the doubt that they may not have anticipated the order volume that came in, and the wait was longer than we (customers) may have expected.

I had thought maybe a couple of weeks also, but I wouldn't have changed my mind had I known the delay was there - I just wouldn't have checked the forums for updates…

Enjoy your new computer on Monday! Book some time off next week for Australia Day to get into it :)

  • Hey Luke @luketechfast, any chance of the case being swapped to something that's not on the upgrade options on the site?

    • Not from us unfortunately, no

    @luketechfast
Requested for local pick up when placing order but getting notification it's getting shipped today instead >.<. Just not trusting Aust Post will handle expensive PC with care..

    • +1

Yeah, I hope they treat them with respect.

In recent history I've had very little trouble with my local post office in regional NSW, but your mileage will vary as it comes down to who is contracted on the day, I think…

  • I'm looking at the $4.4k one and find it odd that the price is more expensive than the strikeout price when you add RAM.

I made the order but received no confirmation email or receipt. Is that normal?

  • Are these deals still available?

Code still worked for me -$200 off the first link

      • Oh great! What code did you use?

        • +1

Each machine has a different code on the right. I used 14900KF-4090-JAN for the first one.
