From Christmas Crackers to Boxing Day Bangerz - here's a deal drop like nothing we've done before.

Our pre-Christmas decks are cleared and these systems are scheduled to ship from early January onwards, as suppliers with whom we've arranged this stock deliver and we produce. We anticipate strong demand and your patience is appreciated on these highly sought-after cards at these prices.

We have limited quantities of the new MSI MAG Pano M100R case in both black and white available as upgrades on certain builds (it's MATX so not compatible with the builds that have ATX motherboards as standard below, nor ATX motherboard upgrades (X670/Z90 if present)). They are arriving throughout January in batches.

Another new option is the 220W Deepcool AG400 Air Cooler in black. Great air cooling performance for chips like the 7800X3D, and RGB to boot.

And, the return of an old friend…

Before anyone asks, GPUs are not available in bulk/without the PC - separate shipping to protect cards in transit is fine. Due to projected busy-ness, unassembled shipping is also not available, nor is component packaging - despite our previous best efforts to help folks out ultimately we would just rather avoid issues in production and disappointment.

+1 for part call outs, and title and deal formatting

you guys don't do zipmoney anymore? that's a shame :(

    • +36

could be a blessing if you can't afford to pay in full

      • very true!

  • +1

Still waiting to hear back about the issues with my order, I know it's holiday period and it's busy but I am unable to complete the build. Would appreciate your prompt reply.

      • Sorry, I think my replies are bugged because I can’t see who asked?

    • +1

I'm sure we'll get it sorted for you ASAP - we're back in tomorrow.

      • Look forward to that. Thank you

  • +1

    no unassembled shipping :(
i would have bought one if that was available

      • +1

they said "unassembled shipping is also not available" in the bottom paragraph unfortunately :(

  • +2

Glad I saw this post by chance just as Luke posted it. Just bought the 4090 setup :D I really hope I get the Gigabyte 4090 instead of the PNY one

    • Thanks!

  • Any 4070 builds?

  • +2

    3080 seems damn good value?

    • 3080 or 4070ti?

      • +4

4070ti - Ive changed from 3080ti and power usage is 1/3

    • +3

You get stuck on a dead AM4 platform, better to go for AM5 with a new build

      • how do i know which of the build above is am5? is am5 only applicable for amd cpu only?

        • AM5 is AMD only, yeah. Motherboards are exclusive to either AMD or Intel, and the AMD stream recently shifted to a different architecture.

The only AM4 platform there is the B550 board for the 3080 build.

        • +2

Ryzen 7*** builds are all AM5
Ryzen 5*** build is AM4 which is a dead end platform.

AM4 was current from 2016 until 2022 (when AM5 was released) but can still be bought new. AM5 will be at least supported by the next Ryzen 8*** CPUs and possibly past 2025.

Every Intel build is usually a dead end platform these days.

          • @Antikythera: I made an account just to say your wrong about the ryzen / am platforms. Then I saw the *** next to the numbers lol

            • @Stickyhat: welcome to the community :)

For others unsure what we both mean or unfamiliar with AMD CPU models, by saying Ryzen 7*** i'm including all R5 7600, R5 7600X, R7 7800X3D, R9 7900, R9 7900X, etc

              I should have said Ryzen R* 7***

              • @Antikythera: Thanks for the welcome, I’m not sure why it’s taken me so long to find this place.

Nah I think you were clear enough, totally my mistake 😅

      • +3

At that price range platform upgradability is practically irrelevant and such a dumb arguement.

  • Would you offer swap outs for the Project Zero motherboard?

    • Not for these deals. Limited case quantity. If they can support higher quantities we can look at it later maybe

  • Awesome, thx, got a 7800X3D 4080.

    • Thanks!

  • +1

Techfast has been around for a while now!

    • +1

      It’s been a ride!

  • Is windows included?

    • for $169 dollars more

    • +1

Not even pre installed with 0 license… id advise against using any prebuilt with adata products also, especially storage.

    • +2

It will come installed but not activated.

      https://github.com/massgravel/Microsoft-Activation-Scripts

This PowerShell script will activate any of Win 10/11 Home/Pro.

      • You sure? Unless you select it, they come with Linux. At least, mine did.

        • Not sure about TechFast's current practices tbh, it's most common for builders including PCCaseGear & Nebula to put a non activated Windows 10/11 on the computer.

  • -8

We have limited quantities of the new MSI MAG Pano M100R case
Fan Size Support: front not available

    Misleading product picture.

Pre Installed Fan Size: Side: 3 x 120 mm

    Useless and counterproductive air flow.
Always have the intake front fans and the top and bottom ones so all hot air gets out from the back.

    • +2

Not sure what you mean about being misleading, do you mean the images on the website? They're the stock images from MSI and show the fans at the side.

        • +6

I genuinely have no idea what you mean.

  • +3

    No deals under $1000? :(

    • Was disappointed in this too, thought I saw that under $1000 builds were coming as part of this drop

      • @luketechfast any chance we will see a sub 1k build post before the new year?

        • Perhaps in January but we have a lot on our plate with these ones to get through first before adding more systems to be built.

  • MSI MAG Forge 112R case (MSI MAG Pano upgrade available with B650 motherboard)

    I don't see this option available on the 3080. The 4070ti also doesn't have a b650 upgrade, only x670

    • Do you mean another B650 option other than the bundled MSI Pro? That's the only B650 offered for these.

      • There's no option for b650 mobo on the 3080 bundle, nor a way to get the msi mag pano case

        • +3

B650 is a different platform from B550 so would require different CPU and RAM too. That one is an AM4 build. If there's interest we can look at an AM5 3080 build.

Case had fallen off altogether, fixed thanks!

          • @luketechfast: Ok it's just listed as an option in your description currently

  • +3

Just bought the Intel Core i9 14900KF | RTX 4080 Gaming PC, with some extras like 32gb ram, 850w psu, Windows 11, bigger ssd.
    Merry Xmas to me!

Thanks very much to everyone who helped with tips on buying in the past. Pretty excited!

    • I forgot to mention that you say "4090" in the description on your website guys.

Thanks very much for making this offer available. Looking forward to it so much!

    • Thanks! And fixed that desc.

    • I just did the same. Woohoo!

  • Hi Luke,

Do you offer local pickup in Adelaide?

    Cheers.

    • We can yep, put the note at Checkout and we’ll refund shipping paid

  • Any way I could upgrade the motherboard for the RTX3080 to include Wi-Fi onboard?

    • Unfortunately not for this one. A PCIE card would fit in the lowest slot underneath the GPU though.

      • +1

Is the 3080 particularly skinny or is this text generic?
" A second PCIE device (e.g. network card, installed post-purchase) will not fit with RTX 3070 graphics cards and above "

        • +5

          Was generic, updated thanks

      • +1

Can you add an upgrade option to have an PCIE Wifi card comes installed by any chance? Thanks

  • That i9 4090 is so tempting. I'm still trying to decide between an i9 or 7950x3d

  • Is it supposed to be 16GB [5200MHz] DDR5 RAM default instead of 32GB [5200MHz] DDR5 RAM ($89.00) for the 4090 build?

Does the item need to be updated on the website?

    • Yep, it has been thanks.

  • Hi mate just enquiring with MSI Pro B650M-P motherboard on the specifications sheet it says the output is 4k 60fps for the HDMI and display port does that mean the motherboard won't be able to do 4k 120 or more if the GPU and CPU can?

    • +1

That would be the motherboard output - it won't output a display through that anyway with the CPU with no integrated graphics. GPU and CPU will dictate resolution and framerate caps through the GPU.

      • Ah ok so if I get the 4070ti build as it is should be able to run older games at 4k 120fps?

        • +2

Hard to say without knowing which games at 4K - just check the card's stats against the games on YouTube probs. But the mobo won't be a limiting factor

          • @luketechfast: Easy have put an order in what would be the ETA for delivery to Perth? Also just confirming that the motherboard doesn't have wifi so it needs an adapter for it?

            • +1

@SammyGg: Correct - no on board with the 7500F 4070 Ti build. You would need wired Ethernet or a USB wifi adapter due to graphics card size and pcie port placement

  • Hi Luke,

Any chance of getting the 7800X3D/RTX 4080 build without the ram for a discount? I'd prefer to supply my own ram but otherwise like the build.

    • +3

Unfortunately not setup for that with the need for testign etc, best advice is to keep as spare or resell

  • Do you guys have any other contact details? Looking to make payment locally if possible?

    • You can email [email protected] - not sure what other payment method you might be looking at - generally only what is accepted is listed. We're back in the office tomorrow to field those types of questions.

      • I submitted a enquiry on the website. Wanted to pay locally so it’s not out of the account for the wife approval factor 😂

Pick up locally too if possible

      • Ive sent a bunch of emails to that email address listed over the last week or 2 wirh a single reply.. I understand if you're overwhelmed but please dont give people the idea otherwise, thanks

        • Unless it’s something there’s no answer for (and we’d still reply with that anyway) we must not be getting them. The inboxes were cleared before we left. Can you follow up with a PM and I’ll check tomorrow?

Update: if the query was about PayPal that’s maybe why you didn’t get an answer as it was only decided a couple of days ago and had been up in the air

          • @luketechfast: I want to order a 4090 i9 system with a few option changed but want to pay cash. Can’t PM you due to having a new account. Won’t let me.

            • @Dat240: Checked with the bosses - can't do unfortunately. Needs to be through the site.

            • +1

@Dat240: Who buys a $4000 PC in cash? Pay tax like everyone else mate.

              • @keenbargains: It has been paid mate, so before you start assuming someone else’s business you should think before you speak.

If you must know why, it’s because the wife wouldn’t approve of 4K PC when it can be spent on the house or holiday. I’m lucky enough to have a small kitty stashed for something like this opportunity.

Just like women with handbags, everything cost less when it gets home.

          • @luketechfast: Thank you for letting me know, but I wish you would have replied to the email stating just that (as in stating that the decision regarding split payment/paypal is yet to be decided and to please check closer to boxing day). Much better than not replying at all. Regardless, thanks for letting me know

  • +1

Is Afterpay going to be an option available?

    • +1

The associated fees make it unviable for deals.

  • +3

Might be a good idea to state how much VRAM each of the GPUs have in the description above, the RTX 3080 series seems to have come in 3 different memory configs, but need to click through to the ordering page before you see that it is 10GB.

  • +1

Hey, just wondering how long this sale will last for? Is it just until stocks runs out?

    • Yep till sold out

  • Hi Luke, how does warranty work for non-SA residents? Let's say I buy it from Victoria and something goes wrong. Should I pack the PC and send it to SA? who pays for the shipments from Vic to SA and vice versa? Thanks.

    • +2

That’s right - return to base warranty with postage covered both ways in the event of warrantable fault.

  • +1

Mate ive sent you a bunch of emails without response with the exception of you javing received the first - but you did tell me that paypal 1/4 would be available, so long as I forgo any ozbargain coupon.. but I dont see any other option to do so at all (to do the paypal 1/4). Please reply to an email or advise, ASAP thank you (Im worried all parts I need will be gone by tomorrow)

    • +2

We actually had to disable PayPal - they are an unviable payment method at this point due to fees and policies, apologies

  • trying to buy the 4070ti build but the discount code is not working for me. wanting to get it with MSI MAG PANO M100R PZ Micro Tower Gaming Case (WHITE) and 32GB Ram.
no discount is added after adding the "$1788 after 7500F-4070Ti-BOXINGDAY"

    • It just checked and it worked - make sure you only use the link in the deal description, not from the main website

      • nvm I figured it out now $1788 after is not part of the code my bad

  • Is the additional storage 4TB, an SSD drive?

    • +1

Additional SSD goes to 2TB. 4TB would be hdd

      • Just to be clear, did you mean mechanical HDD? or non-m2 SSD i.e. 2.5" form factor?
