Samsung Bespoke Jet AI Stick Vacuum Cleaner $824.45 (was $1499) Delivered @ Samsung EPP/EDU Store

60

Samsung’s highest end stick vacuum cleaner (Samsung Bespoke Jet AI) has now gone from 40% to 45%, down to $824.45. Shame because I recently bought this at the 40% off and hasn’t even been delivered yet. :(

This price is across EPP/EDU/GOV stores.Link is for the EPP (Partners_AU) store.

If you have access to the Education Store (i.e. have an @edu.au email address) and have not used the Samsung Shop app, you can get a further 10% 5% off your first purchase - brings it down to $783.23. Note: Only the EDU store will work there (besides paying normal RRP price), I had done this previously with the 10% off from the Shop app.

It's bad enough only AI will touch it.

      • bespoke and AI…..this thing is going to take over your home!

  • Curious about how this beats a dysson or xiaomi one

Clean station is awesome, its a great vac in general, strong suction, battery remaining timer display, simple on off button (no need to hold trigger down). The attachments come on a neat cradle so you dont have to store loosely. This competes with the top of the line dyson, lower price point (at this price).

      • What @donkcat said. I read/watched reviews and was on par (with the Dyson), similar RRP price range for the high end as well.

I own this. +1 to the clean station, absolute gamechanger.
You do need to buy the disposable bins filter things, but they cost like 3-5 bucks each and so far each has lasted me about 5-6 months, for regular cleaning in a 2 bedroom apartment.

Downsides though, is the typical floor brush you use, the fluffy bit is not connected to the motor, so while you have a brushhead that spins inside, the fluffy one moves from you pushing it. It would be way better if both were motorised IMO (dyson does this).

Everything else is solid, also has a removable battery that you can have backups or replace. The cleaning station on its own makes it way more practical than the dyson sticks since that was always the biggest annoyance for me, dust clouds everywhere when emptying.

          • @alebox: Awesome, thanks for the write up.

@Apostle0748: youre welcome! also emptying a full bin into the station is so damn satisfying. it makes me vacuum more lol

'bespoke' made in china mass manufactured vaccuum cleaners!
what a time to be alive!

Even if it was actually discounted for .gov accounts, which it isn't, I couldn't buy it purely based on the use of the word bespoke. Sorry Samsung, mass production isn't bespoke.

Clearly you have never been in my bespoke Toyota Camry

  • How can you access EPP from Samsung Shop app to stack 10% off?

    • +2

You can't, only EDU can be accessed from the app and not EPP

      • Yeah, found that out too when I bought previously.

Thankfully, I still have access to my EDU email so I used that.

  • Can't see it on the gov page. I'm only seeing the 'Bespoke Jet Complete Extra' for $1299

    • +1

EDIT: D'oh. It reverted to the standard Samsung website. This same deal is also on the gov page.

      • Ah awesome, thanks for sharing - will update post. :)

  • Can’t access EDU pricing in the app. Showing up as RRP. Ive linked my edu account with my samsung acc.

Edit. Gotta change from samsung online store to edu store.

Edit 2: app discount is now 5%. Total price: 783.23

    • Edit 2: app discount is now 5%. Total price: 783.23

Yes - and the loyalty discount they'll only give 10%. I tried hard to push them to 15% but they won't budge. Sigh

  • Does topcashback work with edu store?

    • From memory I don't think cashback stores usually do.

I have one of these, and they really are excellent.

    • Is the mop a gimmick or can it actually replace a mop?

      • It's great for spot-cleaning but personally I'd use a mop for larger areas. That said, I've used it to do huge tiled areas, and the cleaning has been great. It's just more time consuming.

  • +1

i have one and really rate it, the only thing is getting hold of the bags that go in the station is next to impossible, and the normal "clean station" ones from samsung dont fit

    • @WestOz93 is the spin mop thing works and worth on this?

      • Yeah, can the mop function actually replace a mop or is it a gimmick?

        • i dont actually have the spin mop attachment so cant comment

    • Ah damn - well hopefully the 3? included ones work well for a while before more become available.

Surely Amazon has third party ones that fit?

    • +2

I buy the generic cheap ones off ebay without issue

      • yeah i did try these but they were a lot smaller in size, i just managed to buy OEM from goodguys

    • +2

I bought a load off aliexpress, ebay or Amazon and they were as cheap as chips and fit perfectly.
Sorry I can't remember where I bought them, it was a while ago. I think I've only used a couple…..they last a hell of a long time.

  • What’s AI cleaning mode?

    • +1

Haven't got mine yet, but I think it essentially changes the suction amount while transferring between different floor types (wood, carpet, tiles, etc.).
