    Rehome towels?

    • +11

Owners couldn't afford to keep them in the current financial crisis.

    • OK, my bad - we use the term rehoming to describe what we do, but I can see how that may sound weird with towels. They are brand new.

  • What's the quality like on these?

  • +1

    Second hand towels.
Like, if they could vouch they were used by Nadal or some other famous player, they would be potential worth a bit :p

    • +1

@WSDtightwad:I would not get Nadal used towels as you might have noticed he always picks his butt. LOL

      • I wouldn't either. Lol.

I was speaking purely from a financial speculative point of view.

      • he always picks his butt

        Is funtustic. No?

Tina logged off straight after posting. Didn't want to hang around to answer any questions.

      • Hey sorry yes, needed to jump onto other work after posting - yes brand new. Replied the other day above, so hope you picked that one up, as I missed this comment.

Shipping kills the deal, wanted to put through an order for towels and it came up with $100 in shipping costs. Tried the subscribe to get first order shipping free but nothing showed up.

    • Same with me, it says free delivery above $50, but never receive the email

Just placed an order for a couple of towels.
From a reading the site, the towels seem to be new (some have photos with packaging too).

    • How much was it with shipping?

      • +1

I didn't pay shipping - lucky to be able to click/collect. But for the few items (like everyone else) it did flag at $45.

          • @Tejas57: lol,

Thanks so much mate. I LOVE YOU!!!!!!! no homo :)

        • Seeing this comment made me then browse through their entire catalogue, sorting from price low to high. Took a few tries and destroyed my afternoon productivity but finally made it to the $50 threshold.

  • Perhaps, if the Australian Open organisation cared, next year they could make this kit without dates on them, that way any unused could be held over until the following year.

Save selling at a loss, or ending up in landfill..

    • if they were not dated then they might not be sold at a discount??

      • Very true. They wouldn’t be.

But my assumption from the wording on this post

Circonomy has partnered with Tennis Australia to rehome Australian Open Products from previous years.

Was that Circonomy (and Tennis Australia) were doing a good thing, by teaming up and selling this stuff at a discount.

        I guess that’s true.

But what is also true is that if this kit wasn’t year branded, then it could be sold or used at later Australian Opens.

    • I am one of those people who likes to buy those towels every year, whats the appeal without a date?

    • +4

I guess you're new to capitalism. :) Dates = more spend. Every major sport I can think of does it.

  • $15 cotton quilt cover sets (brand new) also pretty good!

  • My order came today. Had one item cancelled because it was out of stock and one item completely missing. Annoying because it was one of the main items I wanted
