    Wish they'd hurry up and offer a clearance deal on the X220 already. Kinda want one for that old school KB, but they're still more expensive than a x230..

      These are business laptops. You're paying more for matte screens, insane battery life, expand ability etc

      Better to compare them to Dell / HP's business line rather than bottom of the barrel consumer stuff

  • I won't hesitate to order T430 (i5+HD+Nvidia5400M), if it goes below $1000.

    • Comes to about $720 on the US Barnes and Noble site, ofc you'd have to arrange your own shipping which could be ~$100

      If you can live without warranty service it's not bad
