  • Does anyone own this, is it any good? Can this be used with any camera that uses micro usb? I just worry about warranty if there's a defect/fault

    • AliExpress dispute is your friend for any faults. I never have issues getting a refund for a faulty product (with evidence). Worst case PayPal dispute.

      • I think the bigger concern would be for the $200 camera it might be attached to rather than for getting a replacement or refund for a $17 solar panel….:-)

        • Why?

I expect this is neither IP65 nor 10w.

I’ve purchased some of these (can’t be 100% sure if they are identical). But they don’t even charge.
The ones that work well are marketed as 4w and have a right angled connector. They are also slightly larger than the “10w” ones

    • Did you return and get a refund?

      • Yes

Beware. Ali express has extremely bad customer care service in case of any issue. I had two items which were not delivered, Australia post tracking still showing they are not scanned in their system. ALI EXPRESS refused to accept it as proof as their internal tracking showing its delivered. So refused to refund. Extremely annoying customer care service.

One time I had something that didn't arrive (with no tracking) and a picture of my empty hand sufficed.

A more recent issue is where they had labelled the wrong package and sent it to me. Initially AliExpress refused saying it was delivered so I said in very basic, clear English (since it translates to Chinese) that it had the wrong label on it and uploaded pics of the package outside. That was enough for a refund. It was my own fault for going with a low feedback store however.

    • yep. its very much hit or miss….
      and then…..
will the product last more than 3-4 weeks of use and if it doesnt ….well your shit out of luck and there is zero customer service or buyer protection

I buy from there regularly, but one time I purchased 10x of the same item, the seller shipped 8, so I raised a dispute, in which it was voted in the seller's favour because "I did not provide an unboxing video of the package". I provided a photo of the package and all the items, in which showing the package couldn't physically fit anymore but apparently I need to video record all my package openings like I'm some kind of YouTube reviewer. Pretty dumb… fortunately I've not had any other issues since then.

      • their standard of proof on a sub $10 item is (profanity) ridiculous….
the thing is (profanity) just accept my word for it eediots

  • I provided them official email from Australia post confirming its not delivered also tracking links of AusPost. Apparently they didnt like the format of email and rejected the email.

Maybe you should email them asking if the email was emailed.

I hope you did a Paypal dispute with this evidence.

I just bought one recently from Amazon but doesn't charge my Eufy at all although it claims being compatible. Return and bought different one on Amazon following reviews and it's working perfectly now.

Aliexpress dispute process has gotten worse over time and I would not waste my $ and time with them now..

    • Agreed. Their common strategy now is the ’partial refund' which still nets the seller a profit and leaves the buyer with essentially a piece of rubbish.

    • i spend less than $5 per item cause thats all im willing to lose! lol
      thats what its come to….

I bought one of these to charge my Eufy Pro 2C camera from ebay. Charged the camera from 46% to 100% on one day. Highly recommend.

I have these exact same ones purchased from the same aliexpress store during black friday. They work great. Currently have them charging 2 of my outdoor cams which has kept them at 100% since installing. Though I have noticed that it is important to place them in the correct position that gets sunlight or else they dont charge properly.

I bought the above from ebay for $16.18 after applying one of the numerous ebay codes late last year.

I have ebay plus so currently, there's $5 off $19.49.

Works perfectly fine connected to eufy 2C. I've only had it for 2 months though.

    • Thanks, just ordered one for $14.49 with the eBay Plus coupon!

    Solar panel specs….
    Working voltage = 5V
    Max output Current =600mA
    5 x 0.6= 3W
China needs to learn Ohms law!

  • Does anybody know if this will run a USB desktop fan directly when the sun shines?
