      Why is it wrong? Genuinely interested. I've only heard "Parmi". But I'm in SA, and originally not from Australia.
      Is it different in other states?

        In most parts of Vic it's Parma. But I've heard Parma, Parmy, and Parm.

        The reality is … you won't find a pattern to the suffixes so it's really a matter of regional preferences. It's a ciggie, not a cigga. Sang-er/a not a Sandie. Barbie not Barber.

        Just chalk it up to a fun ribbing between regional rivals :D

  Canadian here, your "poutine parma" doesn't really sound like a poutine at all. if it doesn't have curds it's just a parma with bacon and gravy
