Doesnt work for ssamsung galaxy s2

  • Having some problems on my Galaxy S3:

"The system found that your license on your local system is invalid, the application will use network connection to check for license. Do you want to proceed?"

    and then:

"A problem occurred and the download could not be completed. Do you want to restart the download? An unstable network may cause problems when downloading."

Can't get past this error, tried re-downloading, and also tried on Wifi/mobile networks.

reinstall the app, see if it helps.
check and see if the modern combat 3 hav the same problem on yr device too.
making sure your samsung app is up to date.
if still not working im not sure then.

      • Thanks for replying!

My device is completely up to date, I bought the phone under a week ago. Tried both games, neither can run the actual download once I start the app, just gives this error. Also tried reinstalling both about 10 times now.

I'm sending an email to Gameloft Support to see what they say.

    • I get the same message and says I need to download 1025MB.
tried with the modern combat 3 and need to download 802MB.
1025MB and 802MB??? It's not a PC game what are they thinking?

  • Has ANYONE got this to work? If so, how and on what phone model?

    • +1

Works fine for me on a SGS3.

There's another game for free on there too. Modern Combat 3.

      • Awesome, you just installed the app as normal from Samsung Apps? It's here that I encounter my problem.

        • +1

may be another way of doing it is to reset your phone to the factory state.
this will defintely bring your mobile for downloading both.
since u said u tried several times of re installation already and your s3 is up to date,i believe a hardware network problem may not be the issue too. So it is probably internal programming errors in your mobile. if after all still not working, u should contact samsung.
well although resetting won't be the best way of solving the problem, but this may be the fastest and most promise way to fix it for now.
also I doubt gamesoft will know how to solve it too.
well if all your contacts and details were all synced with your google account, this will not be too many troubles for resetting your phone, it will only takes a sec to retrieve all your details after factory reset. just make sure u back up all photos and stuff to your pc or sd.

Reset the phone, still had problems.

I think I found my problem however, I have the 4G model, which is GT-i9305 compared to the i9300. I guess the games are not supported, though it's never specifically said anywhere. Shame.

          Thanks for all your suggestions!

Unbelievable!!!! This is more than a shame man, why would 4G s3 won't work with the 2 games, doesn't make any sense to me at all. The 2 games only requires network for verification, downloading and multi-player mode. All this compatible with wifi or 3G.
          That is just silly.
Have a chat with samsung too, see if this is a gamesoft problems or samsung's app problems.

        • Waiting on a reply from Gameloft :P
At least the games are now on my Samsung Apps account, so I might be able to look into this even after this free promo is over.

I bought this for 25c when Google were having their special a couple of weeks back. Good game, but it requires an internet connection to work on my WiFi Galaxy Tab 7.7 tablet. Refused to load when I tried playing it on the plane the other day.

Interesting, is there any other guy suffering the same impact when playing without the network?
I tested my s3, and it works fine without the internet at all.
I turned off wifi and mobile data, restart up my s3, run the app, and it is working.
Even tested the airplane mode, and it works too.

      • Tried mine again now, and still same. It wants an internet connection before running.

        • would this be because we are using the samsung app for installation?
I simply means may be samsung add something in to the version they provided from the samsung app store, so it does not require a network to play with.
try install it with samsung app, it might works that way.
or may be galaxy tab for this game can only works with wifi, i know this sound silly but as what you can see above and below, the 4G won't work with this game….so …u know…galaxy tab 7 might hav some problems too =.=

  • Will this work on galaxy nexus?

    • +1

Just tried it out on mine and it didn't work.

  • +1

Also can confirm that it is not working on the SGS3 4G

  • Just to follow up, they've sorted out the Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE/4G compatibility issue, the games now work perfectly on my phone! :)
