  • Might be a slight bargain, but PIR sensors are often on sale in the $5-12 range, & outdoor wall lights often on sale under $40, right?

    • Must be when ALDI had em on specials, Bunnings drop their comparable products to match

  • Why not mention the shipping cost in the title?

    It's $11.70 for me to Sydney, Total… $64.70

      $17.50 to Perth

      • Thanks, so it varies depending on your location.

These have a microwave sensor as opposed to the Bunnings link above which is PIR (infared).

        Does anyone know what's better?

          Depends on use case.
Given this is for outdoor / open space, then probably Microwave sensor is better.
PIRs are generally better for detecting heat changes in more confined spaces.
          YMMV

          microwave sensor

WN, it could be a typo. Based off the product photo these are PIR sensors as you can clearly see the Fresnel lens. Microwave sensors do not use any lens and are contained within the product as the microwaves they emit can easily penetrate the plastic enclosure.

  • I suspect the LED ones would be as bright at a fraction of the wattage

  • I have a few of these from SparkyDirect without the sensor and have been very happy with them. Quality LED lights.

    • Different store, this is StarSparky.

      • my error - Starco light order was from Star Sparky Direct.
