Hi Op, got this for my son and we arrived in Bangkok yesterday.
Couldn't activate when we were at the airport - it was trying to activate for a long long time then failed and said try again..
Was difficult to activate when we reached the hotel - a long long time trying to activate but then it worked…
BUT his phone is showing 3 or 4 bars but he cannot use the internet at all…
From his experience so far, the mobile network looks like it has terrible coverage and performance.
