Or unlimited redemption, no restriction until 31/1:

      • No it isn't. Did you even bother reading the comments?

        • +12

No, why would I read three pages of comments when the heading and OP says NAB only.
I'll take a peak tomorrow though. Thanks for noting.

          • +1

@Borg: Because you're assuming that the commenter did not read the post they linked to, which is exactly what you have done.

            • -3

              @StickBug: Ah for goodness sake…….

          • +7

@Borg: I swear some of the people on here are whacked

Plenty of times when you ask a question that the answer is probably in the pages of comments. People either ask you read the comments or ask you to Google.

I don't even know why they bother to comment

Weird thing is that also give you heaps of upvotes or neg ya a lot

            Just don't understand

            • @Poor Ass: "Plenty of times when you ask a question that the answer is probably in the pages of comments"
              Really?

I by default always read comments unlike many. This was a more rare occasion as I saw no need to, due to the OP Heading being NAB. I tend to answer others queries more than ask questions so am somewhat surprised at your reply. Anyhow, all good, I’ll be quiet now and move along!

              • +4

@Borg: my guy I'm agreeing with you

                • @Poor Ass: Ah ha, when your wrote "you ask", I thought you were referring to me and not as a general when "one asks".
Thanks for clarifying your comment, makes sense and yeah OZB votes can be weird, not that it really bothers me other than interest. :-).

        • +2

But did you read the title and T&Cs? In case you don't receive the $10 that's another story. I still haven't received my last $10. The support hasn't followed up on my case since last week. Good when it works tho.

          • +1

@Bii: I forgot to apply the nab code for one of my order and I messaged prezzee about it. They cancelled the ordered, refunded in full and said to just make another transaction.

Was super easy. They replied within 12 hours lol

            • @CodeXD:

We will get back to you once we have an update. [30/12/23]

Yep I was thinking the same. Worst case I asked for a refund. Maybe they forgot my case lol as it has been over 2 weeks already. I'll give them a follow-up.

              • @Bii:

Update: I'm sorry for this. But don't worry, there will be new promotions coming, just keep an eye out to it.

Not so luck in my case, no offer for a refund. Guess that's it.

                • @Bii: Why are you waiting for the refund offer? Tell them you want a refund

                  • @CodeXD:

I'm sorry as we cannot cancel the Gift card for this reason. Here at Prezzee customers are our number one priority. We are continuously developing features to help our customers use their gift cards as easily as possible and fully understand the Terms and Conditions of any purchased retailer cards.

I mentioned a refund twice already but still got similar responses from them. They also mentioned T&Cs. Too much hassle and I have no ground as I didn't use an actual NAB card.

                    • @Bii: Weird, maybe it's been too long for them to initiate a cancellation?

I emailed them within hours of the purchase and they were happy to cancel it.

                      • @CodeXD: My case might be a bit different. I was sure I entered the NAB code and had it sent to my main email. Strangely the gift card was sent to the sender instead and no $10. Looked like a glitch to me. If I knew it earlier, I would have contacted them straight away too.

                        • @Bii: Yeah my issue is I copy/pasted the code into the coupon box but didn't click Apply. So I didn't get the +$10 NAB gift card

If you sent it as a gift I can see why they are not providing a refund.

    • Unless you hit when it just decides to not work.

      • Reading from comments it's just a temporary issue. I have purchased 5 times without a nab card so far.

        • +1

Yeah it comes and goes. Like I said, too bad if you hit it when it decides not to work. And I've bought 4 for the record.

          • @wavesgreen: Yeah it stopped me and my home IP after I did 4 in a day. But did another one Monday and it was fine

    • +11

      wow you have NFI

    • +6

Strictly speaking, they are two different events which may or may not happen on the same day. That is, some celebrate Chinese New Year but not Lunar New Year, and vice versa.

Most people won't care what you call it, but it would be wrong to insist that it's always called Chinese New Year (or Lunar New Year).

      • +8

If I'm not mistaken, it's several events from various East and Southeast Asian cultures that happen at the start of every year of the Chinese lunisolar calendar (hence why some insist on saying it's a "Chinese" New Year).

Each culture probably has a unique name for their own event (e.g. Tet, Seollal), but collectively the period is simplified to Lunar New Year.

With the PRC's tendency to claim ownership of anything and everything, I completely understand the desire to use LNY even though CNY may be the "technically correct" term.

          • +7

@kenan3cn: What's the Mandarin name for what is known in the English speaking world as Tiananmen Square Massacre in Mainland China?

          • +9

@kenan3cn: Many of you in the PRC don't speak Chinese (Mandarin) as their daily language, like in Tibet, Inner Mongolia, Kwanghsi and Canton.
Even the locals in Shanghai speaks Shanghainese.
The "we" you thought you were part of it are not the reality.
We all know the Communist are trying to destroy every single culture other than their own by brain washing.

            • +1

@TanedaR: Many of the regional Chinese dialects or non Chinese languages in China are dying. Even Cantonese in Hong Kong may not last a few more generations. That's just the sad reality of how it is in China.

              • -1

                @Franck P: Lmao
The fact that cantonese is so huge means other dialects had to die.
                You got no clue.

        • -3

Yeah, I think saying Lunar New Year should have been called Chinese New Year because LNY may have origins from CNY is like saying Japanese or Korean should have been called Chinese as well because these languages have also originated from Chinese.

          • -1

@GreenRomeo: yeah like Vietnam used to write their language in Chinese characters as well. Had they not stopped using Chinese characters in their language more than 100 years ago, The Chinese nowadays would still say if you use Chinese Characters then you are Chinese. That's how the CCP works.

    • do you get a OzBargain badge for that one….?

  • +2

Bonus card received immediately via email after order

  • Any ways to use 2 x $100 coles prepaid cards for this?

    • Yes there is

      • Can you please elaborate? As per below comments, seems like you can do 1 card and usually have to wait a few days, but not both.

    • I think that you can do split payments through Palpal Balance. EG Add $100 to balance, and then pay with paypal
      sequencing that $100 balance and
      then this $100 card.

      • @Peck Is that using only 1 x $100 Coles prepaid card and not 2 x $100 Coles prepaid cards?

      • Have you done that before? For me Paypal gives no option to directly add to the Paypal balance with cards and says you can only do it with a bank account.

        • @wangasm My Paypal is the same

          • @trixieb: I'm guessing you can do $50 transfer from the bank to the balance then stack that with a $100 prepaid card at checkout. And repeat.
However the bank transfer is not instant, so would take ages if you want to buy multiple. Better than nothing I guess.

            • @wangasm: Yes, that's what I am talking about. You could only use 1 prepaid card. It takes 3 or 4 days to transfer in cash from your bank.

              • @Peck: In that case you would just transfer $50 to the balance, so you could make use of the $100 prepaid card. I was asking more if I could make use of 2 cards.

  • +1

    Thanks OP

  • -2

Thanks op, grabbed a few of these and the nab offer.

    • +1

A few? More than one $10 received?

      • +6

yes. i purchased 8 x NAB offer with the same prezzee account and got the extra $10 every time immediately after purchase.

Note however, you need to switch up your payment methods. Prezzee blocks the transaction once you use the same payment method (e.g. same credit card, same Paypal account, same Google Pay account) after you use it more than twice (from my experience). So try to switch up the payment methods and switch up the device and browser you use).

        • Yep! Can confirm that

    • +1

      Did it stack?

  • The terms states we need to use the app but can we buy it from the web site and still get the bonus?

    • +1

      The website works for me.
