Checked photo for details about 3L milk @ 45c. Found photo of 2L milk at $1.55. Confusing….

    • I’m guessing they’re both on sale and OP only snapped an image of the 2L.

      • Interesting choice for OP only to snap the worse deal and not have any record of the other.

Also weird for Coles to sell it's 2L for much more than its 3L, unless the 3L was expiring today or something.

        • I'd check the photos for details, but…

  • milk parrrtay!

  • how long does milk last for ?

    • Until expiry date , can make it last longer by turning it ino cheese and yoghurt

Its always best before and not expiry. A few days its fine.

    • We've used milk a couple of days after the expiry date without any issues.
The milk doesn't magically go off just one minute after 11:59 pm 🤪

    • Expiry date is a pretty good indication. It's based on reproduction rates of the average amount of bacterial inside a bottle, but that's usually based on storage at 4c. If you store it colder it will last longer, and freezing it will slow the bacterial to make it last almost forever.

  • No need to cry if you spill this milk

Reminds me of the army when the catering had heaps of milk, ice cream and no fridges or freezers. Someone had the great idea of mixing the melted chocolate ice cream with the milk. Way to make everyone fat and giving some the runs.

So buy heaps of ice cream for this cheap milk and you're good to go.

Most coles get rid of things with best before dates of next day around 6-7 pm.

  • mmm….rancid milk.
also …talk about milking the puns!

  • Milk bath sorted thks op

  • Stuff them. Haven't bought colesworth milk since they colluded I mean increased the prices due to production cost increases.
It was pretty funny when they first increased their prices, before increasing other brand prices. For like a week or 2 other brands were always sold out (they were still just abit dearer) and coles branded always on clearance as no one was buying. So they increased the price the other brand price.
