What about the $365 for 365GB 12 month expiry plan? Any offers for this plan?

  • Can you clarify does this work as a recharge for existing customers?

    • I've done it a few times in the past, the customer support rep say it's not allowed and they will do it this once. However did it more than once with no issue.

But last time, I contacted a few diff reps, all declined to recharge. Now I'm with Amaysim.

        • I just did it, I told them through chat, I didn't know the process and I already have the sim with me.

From Boost Chat: "Yes, you are unable to use the sim card as we don't don't transfer an existing Boost number to a new sim card.

I am going to invalidate that new sim card and I will try to process that $230 recharge on your existing number."

    • Rep, you can do better :)

Yes , would you like a foot up the arse with that ?

You can get the $230 SIM here for $179 post free and ask for a porting SIM

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/818743

So better deal than both of these.

    • It is out of stock

      • +1

        They restock pretty quickly.

OP - Porting sim inclusion is a nice touch. But possibly could do slightly better on pricing 👌

  • +2

Price match with Officeworks for another 5% discount..

    • Officeworks has stopped price beat with Lucky Mobile. But still worth a try I guess. It depends on who you get to chat with.

    • +2

On what grounds do they refuse it? Can't see anything in their policy that should lead to refusal.

Not saying they don't, just curious

  • @Lucky Mobile - by when can I expect this to be delivered in Sydney if I order today?

At this point it’s almost better to get a Telstra yearly prepaid sim…

    • +3

Telstra cost more and has less dataa

      • I think roaming rates are also better on Boost

  • +2

Better change your business name to Jacky Mobile.

  • Currently on Boost, if i buy a telstra sim- will i be a new customer or i have to port and re-join ?

    • I've been with Boost for years. Back then I read to not port out to Telstra, can't remember the exact reason.. maybe you're not treated as a new customer when coming back to Boost

  • Thanks Jacky, bought one. Fingers crossed I will receive before 29/01.

  • I cant pay with paypal.

  • OP/Rep - per your edit on 25/1/24 saying you are out of stock, are you saying that you're still offering these SIMs for sale on your website without holding any stock to fulfill an order?

My delivery experience: ordered Jan 21, received by Aus post Jan 23. 1st ETA Mon 29/1 - Tues 30/1. Now expected Wed 31 Jan – Thu 1 Feb. Disappointed I will miss out on extra 10Gb data due to not activated before 29/1.

    • +1

Hi you will still have the extra 10GB data if activate it by 29 April.

      • Hi, I had an issue with the post office and my reg Post being return to sender! I sent an email to you, anything else I need to do?

        Thanks

Ordered Jan 19. Finally delivered and received on Jan 29. Also missing the $2 SIM…had to go to Woolies to purchase a cheap SIM to port-out to. Not the best since my previous Boost SIM expired on Jan 24.

    • Which SIM did you use, please? I hear optus now requires a recharge to port to their SIM.

    • Yeha is tried as well. This package is nothing valid, they have another 170 GB for 199ish.
