Motorola G84 5G Magenta / Midnight Blue $348 + Delivery ($0 C&C / in-Store) @ Harvey Norman

140

JB Hi-Fi deal was cheaper earlier in the year if you wanted a $100 JB gift card (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/822642).

Officeworks lists the Moto G84 5G @ $346, but no stock. All Harvey Norman stores near me (Adelaide) appear to have stock.

JB Hi-Fi also have them on sale @ $349 (Midnight Blue / Magenta available online, Marshmallow Blue in-store only).

This or Moto G54 5G? Some reviewers comment that signal strength with the Motorola G54 is OK in "city and suburbs… where there is good tower coverage." Moto G54 5G are now also on sale @ around $249….

Or if you have Everyday Rewards Extra, buy from Big W and use your monthly 10% discount and get it for $314.10.

  • Is the camera really bad? particularly for night shots?

Took the phone overseas and used it as my shooter. The camera is not as bad as what everyone says, I'm sure 5 years so it probably would have been high end or something but hey it looks perfectly good on the phone screen and for socials. It has normal photo mode, which is pixel binning or something like that. but the camera also has ultra res mode which uses the full 50mpx (but can't default to it as far as i can tell but you can set it as an option in the camera app at least) seems at least in daytime it takes much better photos. Here's some pics for you to look at, you can download the day normal/ultra and compare yourself, hope this helps you

Some reviews say the same for the G82. I have never had a problem with the G82, Even compared to a friends IPhone in regional areas. Both on Amaysim.

Recently bought the G54 but haven't had it long enough to check regional reception compared the the G82 though.

The Good Guys has G84 at $346 and in-stock in few stores of western Sydney I checked. Check stocks in your nearest stores or can order online delivery aswell for additional $5 delivery cost.

I called Goodguys support yesterday and asked for best price they could do. Got offered $289+$3 delivery. But goodguys only have the midnight blue in stock unlike JB where even the magneta is on the same price as midnight blue ($349) and is available.
