expired Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Consumer (Pro) Lifetime License & a Game from $2.99 USD

590
New299

I usually use Microsoft security essentials with the free version of Malwarebytes but for $2.99 for a lifetime licence and a free game I thought what the hell.

This is a Trialpay offer, just sign up for the big fish games deal on the offer selection page (about half way down at time of posting).

Completion requirements - please read carefully
Buy 1 game at Big Fish Games for $2.99 using coupon New299.
Local currency will be reflected at checkout.
Valid user information required.
You must be a new user.

Select the game of your choice and buy it using coupon New299, big fish will sign you up for their member monthly membership trial, remember to cancel it later, it's easy to cancel and you get the cancellation email fast. I would also cancel the billing info in your big fish account and remove them from the Paypal rebilling if you used it.

Now sit back and play the game you ordered and Trialpay should track and a code for Malwarebytes should be in your account. Then install it from here if you dont already have it:

http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3001-8022...

and activate it with the codes Trialpay give you.

Some people might have tracking problems if you do just email Trialpay and they will ask for your confirmation email from big fish games.

The consumer licence is the same as as pro and lasts a lifetime so enjoy :)

Thanks to bazray from HotUKDeals for this one.

Updated link thanks to excite from here. :-)

    Cool +1 from me

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware is one of the best free anti-malware products out there.

So much so I was happy to upgrade to the full version, which is well worth the money for the protection one gets with MBAM (and rare for a TA like me).

    I just lost the game

    Avast or this?

      this + MS essentials.

This + any AV that doesn't come with malware protection included. Many of the Complete/Total/360 packages include malware protection now days and from my knowledge running 2 malware packages is generally a no-no like running 2 anti-virus packages.

Avast has an anti-malware component already. Using this together with avast might incur some performance hits. However you might be able to disable Avast's malware scanning component since it has a modular design.

Your trialpay checkout link does not work.

As your post is a cut and paste from http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/malwarebytes-anti-malware-co... have you actually done this yourself or just sharing the post?

Seems to be a mix of comments on hotukdeals, and no details about the offer on the big fish site.

There's an offer for 250 business cards instead of the game.
    Anyone ever used vistaprint.com.au before?

I have, they are quite good.

    • +1 vote

      Yeah pretty good quality.

  •

    Just activated!

  •

Now the other main question. I bought Daily Mahjong game. Its installed via the stupid Games Manager and have to play within it.
Anyone know how I can get just the .exe file for the game and install on make it an portable game ?

Beware the Automatic Monthly charge on BigFish. Around $7+ I think.

    •

Paid via PayPal. Didn't specify anything about a scheduled payment.

      • +2 votes

I paid via paypal and got the link to get the licence virtually immediately. I clicked on the link and got my MBAM licence right away.

During the payment bit bigfish did add a free monthly membership trial to my cart - that's the scheduled payment. After paying with Paypal, I logged in to paypal, clicked Profile, My money, My pre-approved payments, and cancelled it there.

        •

I un-ticked that.. so I only purchased the game :)

        • +1 vote

I tried un-ticking. It increased the price by a dollar. Hope you didn't end up paying $3.17…

  •

Did anyone else's key end with WW85?

  •

Good one, even though as petestrash said, all the hard work was done for you PillowDefender. Great bit of software (not bigfish) for the price.

  •

    works. thanks

      Cheers that linked worked.

FYI I didn't even have to install the game - my license email came instantaneously.

I have used trialpay before for Winzip with no worries at all. Just grabbing Malware now :)..and by Malware I mean Malware Bytes :p

damn, your ninja-edit was too fast!

      • +1 vote

lol…:) yes I was very quick :p At least I know one other user would have seen that classic (unintentional) pun :P

  •

I only got the licence key starting with ID:
When I click the Protection tab there is no Registration button only Buy or Activate and in Activate there is a field for product ID which I don't have.

Anyone give me a heads up on what the hell I am doing wrong please?

    • +4 votes

      I made the same mistake.

      Look closer, slowly.

first is the numbers starting with ID:

      Then you have the key:

Enter both in relevant fields, click Activate and see the magic happen

      •

LOL yeah got it now, thanks.
They could have hit the return key and put the product key on a new line rather than just confusing a tear arse like me. The buggers.

    Worked for me.

Did these steps that I took:
    1. Signed up to TrialPay here: http://www.trialpay.com/checkout/?c=1ab31da
    2. Clicked "Learn More" on the Big Fish Games offer
    3. Clicked "Continue" on the deal
    4. Bought Peggle Nights.
    5. Went back to the TrialPay page (that I left open)
    7. Clicked "Check Offer Status"
    8. Got my key - Not Done Yet!
    9. Went back to Big Fish Games and unsubscribed: https://store.bigfishgames.com/my_account/my_game_club.php

Pretty long and annoying process but for me it was worth it for a copy of Malwarebytes.

    •

Do you know Big Fish still work, cant find it on the offer page after signing in.

  •

Bought this fairytale build alot game (discounted to $2.17) and didnt get any malware bytes code……. :((((((((

The trialpay page still shows i didnt complete the offer to buy a game!

Had to email trialpay support… hopefully they will get back to me zzz

    •

Same here, still 'pending' and not listed in my trialpay orders. I emailed support and received an automated message -

      Thank you for your inquiry.

You will receive a response from us as soon as possible. It may take a few days due to higher than normal e-mail volume.

If you have completed an offer and are waiting for a confirmation e-mail, please be patient—some offers credit instantly, while others can take several days.

      Just have to be patient.

      •

Just an update, I received an apologetic email from TrialPay support, apparently their system was unable to verify my order, so they asked me to email them a copy of my receipt.

        •

Finally got my key, all good :)

    •

      What steps did you take?

      For me it was instant.

      •

        Same steps you posted above.

    •

I also saw $2.17 and was afraid it would not come through. I then added a 2nd game, removed the 1st one and it became $2.99. Then removed the 2nd game and added the 1st one back with coupon -> still $2.99 -> proceeded to checkout > got the code immediately.

      Pretty convoluted !!!

  • +3 votes

No longer seeing the Big Fish Games offer on the offer list.

  •

An update for my case… Trialpay support finally emailed me my malwarebytes code! yay!

Thank you guys for sharing this deal!

My daughter will be happy with that fairygame I got! lol

Glad most people managed to get MWBs. I know it was just a copy and paste from the UK site, but such a good deal. Glad my first post helped a few. Enjoy your games! :-)

  •

Malwarebytes Pro + Microsoft Security Essentials is a pretty good combination.

  •

    Missed again :(

  •

i have follow the link and on the offer selection page, but cant find Big Fish games. Has it expire or something?

    •

just when thru post again as it seem expired thanks anyway miss out on a great deal

  •

Had the window opened on the offer page last night but selected and paid for a game this morning for $2.17 but failed to see my completed order on TrialPay after half and hour. Emailed customer service and got a reply with the completed order and licence code. Not bad given the volume of queries from Ozbargainers they must be dealing with.

Installed and activated Malwarebytes, tried a Quick Scan but it hang after 14 seconds of elapsed time. I wonder if anyone else has a similar problem?

  •

So does it still work or not? Really interested in this

    •

Although the option for BIGFISH is not currently available on TrialPay website
the deal has expired but been revived before and it may yet become available again some time later.
