What Mortgage Interest Rate Have You Been Offered?

Hi, for those of who have recently taken mortgage what rates were you offered by the bank?

Is NAB's Variable Rate Home Loan rate of (6.24%) good? There is an additional fee of $8 per month. 100% offset and 80% LVR.

Is it possible to negotiate on this rate?

Thanks

You can negotiate on anything. Whether or not that negotiation results in an improved offer is another conversation.

You'll need to do your own research, but those prices look reasonably sharp. There may be other deals out there, but I know that for a Big 4 bank, that pricing is pretty keen.

    • Nah, I got 6.19 with cba, including offset so those rates are not sharp at all.

Did you go direct or via broker?

Ask your banker or broker if a lower rate is available.

Seems about right for NAB. May be able to get 6.19%

    • Thanks!! I will ask but first though of checking if this is something competitive
