          I believe it's the percentage charged by the event promoter. $18 goes to the artist and $1.38 goes to the venue.

              @Fergy1987: As the artist in question, I'm inclined to agree, but unfortunately that's virtually unheard of in this industry. Venues either charge a huge up-front fee or take a bite out of every ticket. They have to make money, too.

    "With over 10 million views online…" - yeah… I don't think so. His official Youtube channel has a total of 10 videos on it. It "claims" to have 300,000 views, but this is impossible if you add up the total views of all the 10 videos (it's more like 24,000 views).

      “Online” can refer to multiple platforms, my friend. Check out my Instagram (@davidrosecomedy) and you’ll find 3 videos with 1M+ views, one video with 2.7M, plus another 4 or 5 with half a million or more. There’s also literally dozens with 10k to 100k.

      There are also videos on my TikTok and Facebook with 500k+. I don’t think any have cracked a million on those platforms, sadly.

        Ok fair enough. Why not upload these videos to Youtube as well then? By the way, Queensland's slogan "The Smart State" is very old and was discontinued a while ago. It never replaced Sunshine State.
