[eBay Plus] Lubluelu Robo Vac SL60D/61 Vac Cleaner and Mop LDS Laser 4000 Pa Suction $248.17 Delivered @ Lubluelu eBay

370

Update ***
After researching the SL60D and the SL61 ,
Since they were both upgraded to 4000Pa suction , The only difference is that the SL60D has 2 side brushes as opposed to 1 and a Glass front panel as Opposed to plastic. The only advantage of the SL61 seems to be a very slightly longer runtime . 130mins as opposed to 120mins .
Taking all this into consideration,
The SL60D seems like a better option ( the first link ) as opposed to the SL61 (the third link ) ,. Hope this clarifies some things for everyone.

From the Official Lubluelu Ebay Store .
This to me is a better deal than the Amazon one.

    AU $405.04
for both the cleaner and station….

i wonder how long it will work for?
id rather buy on amazon so I can return if its rubbish

    • The reviews suggest it's a good unit. I get your point though , Its easier to return Amazon items.
Same SL61D on Amazon is $310 I am happy to take a chance and save some coin. After all I am still buying from the same official store .

  • whats the difference with the single beam Lidar version which is $20 cheaper?

    • +1

From what I read , they both work in a similar way but the Lidar has a single beam whereas The LDS laser uses multiple beams to calculate distance .
Perhaps , Someone may be able to correct me if I am wrong .

Just got a second one for upstairs. Love it! Can't believe how cheap they are given the quality

link broken? Trim it, everything after "?" is not needed, including the "?" itself. Should be "https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/nnnnnnnnn".

@bazzazz: I'm still rocking the Chinese-speaking Gen1 Xiaomi from like 7 years ago.

I want a mop though. Is the mop on this one good, and do I have to use the app? (The Xioami just works without the app/wifi).

Also, if I have carpet in some rooms, does this thing piss on the carpet? (I'll probably just shut it in the kitchen anyway).

              • @idonotknowwhy: Personally if you are buying it for the mopping function , don't , tbh I don't think there is a robot Vac out there that mops well. As far as how good the mopping function is on this one , I can't say cos I haven't received it yet , We also have a dreame D9 and I reckon my wife has used it maybe once .

                • @bazzazz: I mean, I simply don't mop at all right now, so maybe it'd be better than nothing lol.

                  • +1

@idonotknowwhy: For those not planning on using the mop function then it's worth considering getting the dust only container. If not the dust container is quite small as it is shared with the water tank.

              • @idonotknowwhy: Same. Gen 1 Xiaomi and definitely want to upgrade to a mopping/self emptying version.

Rather get something decent and buy once

                • @Spending2Much: +1 for buying once. Too often I buy something shitty, then end up buying a high end model shortly after.

The issue is, I've 'bought once' with the Gen1 Xiaomi, and it's so robust!
It's also easy to repair eg: mine broke down about a year ago. I bought a $20ish replacement motor from Aliexpress, replaced it, and it's working perfectly again. I'd hate to get rid of it when it still works.

I keep reading that the robot mops are shitty like bazzazz said above, but maybe a shitty daily mop would be better than nothing?

  • Anyone know it compares to the Lefant Robot Vacuum Cleaner? https://amzn.asia/d/7qz7sfI

They look very similar on paper with Lefant being $250.

  • +1

So impressed with them, I have bought 2 SL60Ds for myself (one for each floor) and another for my elderly parents in the past 2 months. Have only used for vacuuming, not mopping. They do a great job for the money. Tempted to buy the emptying stations now as well.

    • +1

Just bit the bullet and bought 2 emptying stations as well ($295 total with eBay Plus). Both floors of my house have steps in the middle so the vacuum can't manually cover the entire floors. But with multiple map management (5 per device) you can simply pick up and move the unit down the step, and it will vacuum the other part of the house as well. Now I can have a charging unit in both sections, with the original charging dock in the smaller area, and the new emptying dock in the larger area. So if I forget that I've moved it, it will still be fully charged when I remember to move it back.

Here is a spec, sheet for the SL60D vs the SL61 , from July last year ,
Since they both seem to have been upgraded to 4000Pa suction power ,Imo the SL60D is a better option since it has 2 side brushes and a Glass front panel which would be more resistant to scratches and scuffs.

^^^ I read this in a previous post, the fact that this one only has one brush makes it a pass for me.

Not the OP's fault because the model numbers don't make any sense

  • +1

happy with my SL60D which arrived last week from ordering direct, 4000Pa version. Lidar works great for mapping compared to the Yeedi 2.
The mopping doesn't have any movement so it just drags the mop around but it does a decent job.

    Just ordered the auto-emptying station.

    • +1

I’m in the same boat as you. Held off on the auto-empty station until today.

I like the Y-shaped mopping motion. Kinda mesmerising. Takes ages but I guess that doesn’t matter if it’s scheduled well

  • Ordered Vac & the Dock as I fed-up with Dreame W10 mop customer support!

  • Just tried out my new SL60D yesterday, very impressed!

Just wondering if anyone knows of any important difference between this and the Kogan LX16 apart from different button position?

    https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-smarthome-lx16-robot-vacu…

    • lol kogan just increased the price on the LX16 with dock by $100

Would still like to know if anyone knows the diff

  • How can you tell if it’s the upgraded 4000pa version
Mine has no info saying 4000 on it

  • I ordered from them 2 months ago and got an email last week saying they don't have enough stock of the SL60D to fulfil orders.

    They've offered me a refund or the SL61 with a 10% discount.

I think with the discount the SL61 will come down to $210. Torn on what to do.

The have a 30 day return period but its not clear if returns are processed in Australia and how much the return will cost.

    • Seller pays return shipping, it's stated on their eBay listing, Did you make your initial purchase via eBay ?

      • +1

No, I purchased it directly through them.

I'm assuming the eBay store is also run by Lubluelu so unless they have different stock for eBay I'm expecting them to notify people that it is sold out and offer the SL61.

Side note, I was doing some research on Reddit and there were 2 guys reporting that their vac started playing music randomly. They apparently reported the issue to Lubluelu and were told an urgent firmware fix was coming.

Juding by the symptoms those guys described, it sounds like you can pair to the machine from any device and do more than just interact with its basic cleaning APIs. This is concerning.

  • +2

    @corvy
Friend got the same message, so dunno why they're flogging them if no stock.

Regardless…got one before xmas, 3000kpa job.
More than satisfied with it's vacuum ability.
Haven't bothered with mop function or running through the app.

    Shts on my old roomba.

  • I ordered one yesterday from their eBay store and status changed to Shipped after an hour.

    • +1

Doesn't mean its shipped. sellers just provide the shipping number just so you cannot cancel an order.

      Happened to me with them.

      • +1

FYI - that happens automatically. If I sell something on ebay and use their system to buy/print the postage label, it's marked as sent immediately.

  • Same model but this one seems to be cheaper by approx $8
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/354889274376
compared to the one in this post https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/354836199638.
Though both are from same store, Am i missing anything?

    • +1

      Plus 9.99 postage

  • Having your robot sing🎶 whilst cleaning via the Bluetooth speaker function is very neat. Connect to it on "BlueZ 5.54"

    • +1

AHA! - My brother in law did this to us at christmas - 3 in the morning and the vac was playing music - we couldnt figure out for the life of us why!!!!
Thats it - he's gone next year!!

      THANKS FOR THE INFO!!!!

  • What is the height of this vacuum? Will it go under furniture of about 8cm from the floor? Thanks.

  • Seems to have gone up in price

  • found the SL61 for $237.. trying to figure out how much of a difference the second side brush would make and if it's worth it at 237..

Plus in this link, it looks like there is a place for the second brush anyway? must use the same casing
    https://lubluelu.com/blogs/buying-guide/comparison-between-t…

  • that was quick, station arrived today after ordering on Saturday.

It sure is loud when it's doing the emptying though

  • Does Amazon offer free returns on these ??
It seems like they have a unique return policy compared to other items.

  • +2

Mine came dead on arrival, support not responding, beware

    • I had a small issue with my Vac and Max from Lubluelu has been absolutely fantastic all was resolved and I am a happy camper. Did you contact them Via eBay ? That's how I contacted them and they responded immediately 🤷🏼‍♂️.
I have Max's email address if you need it .
      Cheers
