Was reviewing the 4070ti options at Centre Com last night, as another post mentioned a sale on graphics cards. Pulled the trigger on the MSI VENTUS 3X 4070ti for $1099 as it was the cheapest around with no lights/RGB. Multiple forum posts about the ASUS TUF Gaming 4070ti having an annoying light that lots of people have trouble turning off through the ASUS bloatware (for anyone wanting a zero lights GPU).

Im sorry. But that honestly is a stupid move you did, ventus 3x is one of the worst 4070ti out there and a solid tier below that of the tuf gaming. Given same price, there is no reason you should go for one over the other.

That’s not even adding to the fact that the tuf gaming’s rgb is as minimal as it gets, it’s literally a small logo on a corner - cover it up with electrical tape if you will?

      • I second that, my 3090 Tuf still going strong, has aluminium shroud unlike the ventus plastic one.

      • is Galax one a better 4070ti then MSI ? Asus TUF Gaming is just too bulky for my build

Sorry for the late reply. KFA2? Yes

I had a 3080 TUF and just unplugged the RGB which was accessible without pulling apart the card. Might be able to do the same with the 4070ti.

you paid $1100 for 12 gb VRAM in 2024 - Nvidia loves you

      • Only I needed a new one urgently and I can't wait for another 2 months for prices to go to reasonable levels.

  • But where’re the 4080 deals! ;-)

I know a few around like PNY for 1500, but I’m thirsty for others. Holding

Good price on the dual super, and not a bad price on the 70 Ti TUF (though def could be better)

The 899 4070 proart is not bad too! If u into non rgb all dark theme

  • how about RTX 4070 Ti Super Ultra Plus Black Limited Edition?

Edifier S360DB $399 is the best bargain here. Highly recommend them as desktop or even TV speakers, as the subwoofer is wireless and only requires a power cable.

My previous post about them when they dropped to their last cheapest ever, which was $424:

    • Are the worth the $300 more than I paid for the r1700bt? I feel like I could just add a much cheaper 8" sub and have the same quality.

      • +1

Yes, far superior compared to the cheaper Edifier bookshelf speakers. I haven't heard the R1700BT itself, but I've heard the Edifier S1000MKII which is much more expensive, and the S360DB is basically S1000MKII + Sub quality wise.

  • Nooo I just paid $1199 for the ASUS TUF RTX 4070 Ti from Centre Com last weekend

  • $950 with amazon. Sucks you gotta wait a month for it to dispatch though..

This was posted before but apparently many received 4060 ti instead !

      • Ohhh that one, thanks for the heads up! wow that was a month ago and it still hasn't been fixed.

Just FYI, this ASUS Dual 4070s oc has big chance to have the coil whine.
