Oh, nice. This is the 3 in 1 brother of the HL-L2445DW which had quite a few deals in the last month. If both would be discounted I would rather get this but wasn't my luck.

Note that currently there are no after market drum units for this model (DR2530), possibly because it is quite new.

  • If you are looking for just printing, would recommend the Brother HL-5200. We use them across 5 warehouse, with large print loads. A true workhorse.

Bit thays $100 dearer. Maka no sensa

      • Last way longer, and toner is cheaper

        • How do you know it will last longer? Toner sure, but id take $100 less to cover that.

    • Do you buy brother toner when its out of ink? Its almost half the price of the machine in my instance (for 3000 page toner)

I tried a 3rd party from amazon with lots of reviews and it printed very bad, very blurry, complelty white on 1 side then gradually became blacker across the page. Plus ink was leaking out of the toner

Try inkstation.com.au ink, I find them very good for generic toner

    • isnt this a better deal at 50 dollar cheaper and with more functions like scan and copy that other one lacks

how much is the toner for this bih

  • FYI, you can go Aliexpress to buy cheap powder ink, then research on how to soft-reset the Brother printer.
Each time the printer complains of low ink, just reset it. Refill as you see the print quality deteriorate too much.

Looks like no RJ-45 Ethernet port unfortunately, unless I read the documentation incorrectly. I'd like to buy this, but Wi-Fi only networking is a terrible idea.

100% agree, unless you have a static IP it can be ok. Even then it plays up. Pain in the ass when you really need to print asap

  • Hows the scanning quality? I presume Brother << Canon and that this model has further cutbacks given it's a cheap multifunction?

  • I just need for printing 10-20 pages a week. Is it a question of buying and just waiting for generic toner to become available in the near future?

  • Dont forget cb and discount gift cards, both brough this down further for me.
