Come onnnnn give me another 10% off night

    • +1

      Usually last week of month

    • +10

Hold until end of March and the whole of April for the best TV deals as stock clearances begin.

      • Will they still be in stock?

        • +1

          That's the $200 question.

      • +2

Minimum of 50% off on 1st April.

        • +1

You aren’t fooling around right? April fools

    • Is there $200 worth of difference though? not according to RTings.

      • +9

        IMHO yes, easily.

      • +2

Absolutely, as other comments covered the G3 MLA is a game changer, also the 5 year panel warranty is handy too.

      • The RTings scoring system is flawed. If you understood the measurements you’d see there’s a huge difference.

    • +5

Yup was about to comment this

$300 more with MLA and much better design flush wall mount = FTW hands down. Any day of the week!

    • Why is the G3 77 sooo much more expensive?!

      • +1

        Because it’s 40% larger.

        • +1

          Oh.. you're right.

Never really thought about it but yeah its literally 40% more TV.

Pray to the OLED gods that LG do another direct deal

    • How much did LG have the 77” for last deal in Dec?

      • Cant remember but I got the 55" C3 for $1756 delivered.

  • C2 42 was less than 1k…..

  • This or thr falcon?

    • FFffalcon?

      • lol yaa

        • I dont think ffalcon has oled or miniLED in its range

  • Burnt (pun intended) once with LG OLED… not again…

    • Their panel warranty has been excellent in my experience.

  • C3? S90C? C3? S90C? C3? S90C? C3? S90C? C3? S90C? C3? S90C?
    AAAAAaaah!
Someone get me out of the hole I dug myself into.

    • S90c doesnt have 42" if it helps

    • Can get a 77 s90c for 3550

      • Edu price?

        • +1

Through the Employer Rewards section. Currently $3700 plus 5% first app purchase. Cant stack the 15% loyalty voucher unfortunately! That would make it a crime let alone a bargain

          77 S95C is $4200 once you include the 5%

      • Is this better than g3?

    • +2

      G3

    • +4

No Dolby Vision on the Samsung

  • Can anyone enlighten me as to why the 48s never go on sale?

    • One or more of the following:
      * Not as many produced
      * Inflation / LG raising base prices
      * Sales for a lot of things have been dogshit the last year

    • Awkward 'tween' size I guess. Too big for the gaming PC crowd and too small for the lounge room (55" being the bare minimum nowadays)

      • +1

But perfect for the home office :(

        • Confirmed, 🤌. I have one but wish I had got a 55 since it would be even better

I've got a c2 and a c845 (tcl mini led). Honestly, I wouldn't bother with the OLED if it is going to mainly be used for watching tv/movies or gaming. For monitor use the OLED is nicerbut for everything else the mini led is brighter and the blacks just as good but the TV is $1000 cheaper.

    • Best TV for gaming and Movies. Watching TV dont know/care.

      Couldnt disagree more.

  • C3 or G3 for the 77" ???!? nearly $1k difference hmmm

    • +2

In 77, G3 for the clean lines wall mount, MLA, express 5 yr panel warranty (tho ACL would cover). Buy once now, cry once. Or hold til end Mar/april

  • In what ways have these LG OLEDs improved over the years? Specifically I'm looking at a used C9 from 2021 which is about half the price of this C3. Does anyone know what has been upgraded over the years and if the extra $1300 is worth it for most people?

    • I think it's marginally improved but the C9 was/is excellent.

For $1350 it's a reasonable deal. I'd probably risk it.

      I have the C1 personally.

  • I currently have a single desk with a 27 inch LG 4K Monitor with my MacBook Pro connected - I work on it and play my PS5 on it but I am looking to do some upgrades and seperate them a little.

I was thinking of getting a new L shaped desk and adding a Apple Studio Display for work (graphic design) and then a separate monitor for gaming and movies. Do you think the LG OLED 42 would be a good option? I mainly play Apex Legends and Battlefield 2042 with some single player games but I am pretty competitive with Apex ranked and am a little on the fence about wether a 42 is too large?

    • I currently use a LG 42" as work monitor with a 27" Dell 2721DGF 1440p on the side during the day and then use it to game on with the PS5 plugged in during the night.
It works really well and I would recommend it. My desk depth is 75cm, I would say anything less would be too close. Also have both on Monitor arms to push further back against the wall

      • Nice, yeh - I think I would wall mount the LG 42 to the right-hand side of the L and just get the Studio Display on it's basic stand as I am not paying crazy money for the height-adjustable one.

Good Guys appear to have matched at 2,636, and via eBay you might have a 5% Plus discount (or similar) available.
Doesn't look like click and collect is an option, so you might need to add the 55 delivery, but still works out slightly cheaper - for those keen to squeeze every penny.
