Was looking at the MobileCiti deal posted earlier. Saw that Kogan is also running a Lunar New Year - 8% off via code - DRAGON.

      Fair enough but you can get them cheaper in us , RRP is the normal sale, on special they will be less , still a lot of cash to pay for grey import with sketchy warranty and us plug

  I heard a lot of bad things about Tristar Online though but they are the sellers on BIG W as well. I would get it for that amount but worried because of the seller. Anyone have experience with them?

  Is there any reason getting the 1TB version if you're planning to upgrade the SSD anyway?

    Good question.
    If you can get the SSD Cheap enough then not really. Keep in mind it's a short SSD not full size.

    The MobileCiti deal for the 512GB is $1,133.10 and the 1TB above is $1,268.68. — So roughly $ $135.58 for the extra 500GB.
    Probably a better deal if you get a Steam Deck with a smaller SSD to start.

    A M.2 2230 SSD @ 1TB can go for as little as ~ $130 (ballpark off staticice, ex shipping, didn't check if with/without DRAM).
    And +/- $30 for an SSD enclosure to clone the drive as well.
