      I'm guessing they just happened to all be in the same nursing home, easy to round most of them up and ship them to Australia.

      I hate how these festivals go wide and not deep to try attract as many people as possible and wind up appealing to no one. Who's the target audience that likes at least half those bands? Old deep purple fans who went through a punk stage?

    When this was announced I really wanted to go. Then I found the promoter of this is Andrew McManus. It's already been moved from the original venue because who the heck puts a music festival on in the city on Anzac Day…

    Chances are this will get cancelled or bands will mysteriously drop out and be replaced with lesser bands. I could be wrong but after being burned twice by McManus's shitty companies, I'm sitting this one out.

      I kinda hate and love seeing McManus associated to anything I want to see. You know it's going to be half arsed, but you also know ticket prices will drop when they cant shift enough tickets for the venue too large / the tour with too many dates.

      That smashing pumpkins tour was insanely large, and then they consolidated 3 nsw shows into one, and the same in other cities.

      FTR I kinda want to go to this out of morbid curiosity… Blondie is a name I'd be keen to add to my 'seen' list, and even dead Kennedys (although I expect that to be about as bad as modern Black Flag). Plenty of 'I'd see em if I was there' bands, but this far out I don't expect the lineup to closely resemble what is advertised…

        I saw Blondie on her I want that man tour after passing it by a mate who saw her the night before and said she was awesome. The night I went? She was dreadful. 24 hours made all the difference. Don't know if she's still that way but if you get her when she's high AF on drugs it'll be a real letdown.

    Can anyone who has purchased this deal comment on how the tickets are delivered? Do you get 2 actual tickets or just one ticket that admits 2? If you get 2 tickets, what price is on each one?
