It has USB-C quick charging and the MX Mechanical Mini keyboard stays powered up to 15 days on a full charge or up to 10 months with the backlighting turned off which is excellent.

Smart illumination: Backlit keys light up the moment your hands approach the cordless keyboard and automatically adjust to suit changing lighting conditions.

Multi-device, multi-OS: Pair MX Mechanical Mini Bluetooth wireless keyboard with up to 3 devices on nearly any operating system via Bluetooth Low Energy or included Logi Bolt receiver.

I bought one and am excited to use it once I receive it.

    type feeling is mehh…

    • I guess that is personal preference. This one has clicky switches but they also come with linear and silent switches. So depends on which one you got.

No. Try some keychrone keyboards then you would know what I was talking about. Logitech mechanic keyboards are rubbish. Period

    • I agree with you, I've had the Logitech Mech and it's pretty average, end up selling it.

Switched over to Nuphy Halo65 and it's so much better in terms of:
      - Sounding thocky
      - Smooth travel
      - PBT keycaps (very important)
      - Spacebar on the Nuphy Halo is next level

At this price…why not just get a proper mechanical keyboard that supports removable switches, programmable keys, replaceable keycaps. Keychron K3, Nuphy, Epomaker etc?

Not saying you're wrong at all, but some people just aren't interested in that. They want something that looks and feels premium (which I don't know this does) from a brand they know/recognise (which those you've listed might not be).
I'm still loving my Keychron K4V2, but I know a few people who are hesitant purely because they don't know the brand…
As an aside, Aussies are weirdly brand loyal.

Battery life comes to mind, not everyone will care but as far as I'm aware no other company is even close to matching them in this area. Keychron for example lasts days/weeks compared to Logitech's months.

Main thing that draws me to Logi's stuff are wireless/BT connectivity and long battery. Logi is the best I've used in regards to those.

Can't say about the other brands but my Nuphy Air75v2 is horrible at wireless (both 2.4GHz and BT). It drops keys randomly, sometimes keys get stuck. The hardware is great, the firmware/software is very disappointing.

Never had these problems with Logi, I ended up refunding my Nuphy.

    • I have owned a Keychron K2 before and the wireless connection was poor. The most annoying thing I found was it would take 2-3 secs till the laptop woke up after pressing a key on the keyboard. On the Logitech keyboards it is instant wake up.

And personally I don’t need RGB or hot swapping as I know I won’t be doing any tinkering with it. I just need something that works well out of the box.

    • I see….never thought that much. Thanks all for the feedback, good food for thought for those considering.

multiple devices toggle is game changer for work

  • hows the height of this? I know they are low profile compared to a standard mech keyboard but ive grown accustomed to just the standard mx keys and not having to use a wrist rest. Just wondering if the increase in height is negligible

  • why don't these ads post the type / brand of switches anymore? Just saying mechanical keyboard is not enough.

    • +1

They're Logitech's own proprietary clicky low-profile switches. Clicky is all you need to know.

      • They actually use Kailh Choc V2 low profile switches.

    • Logitech themselves don't mention it, they market this as a business keyboard so it's probably an afterthought.

  • Good luck, I ended up returning it (luckily bought from OW), keyboard function 101, this one failed to register keys, constantly missing M & N keys. You thought you type fast with mech keyboard but the intermittent miss key kill the most basic keyboard, let alone Logi charges $200+ for it. Again good luck!

  • I would highly recommend something like this: https://www.keychron.com/collections/keychron-k-series-keybo…

If you want a low-profile mech keyboard, I love mine. Whether I am using via bluetooth or wired, it never misses a beat, use it with a Windows machine or my Mac.

It's cheaper and way better in every way.

    • How's the battery life on yours? I had a 2nd hand K7 that only lasted 2-3 days with the backlight off, not sure if that was normal or if the battery was shot.

I quite liked it with mint switches and 65% layout, but the battery essentially made it a wired keyboard.

      • +1

Mine lasts for over 2 weeks with the light on, with light usage, and about a week with heavy usage.

        • Thanks for the reply, the battery was most certainly busted on my K7.

          • @Hiphopopotamus: They use cheap polymer cells just buy on AliExpress and swap if needed

            • @hippo2s: Not a bad idea, but they aren't particularly cheap, and you would need to find one that's the right size and maybe resolder some wires/the plug.

I sold it a while back for cheap because of the battery.
