          My complete subjective view is a tablet is a screen before all. If you got used to OLED screen, it is really hard to go back to TFT for watching a movie or even just using dark mode.

          I don't know about the quality screen of the Lenovo. The one on the FE looks fade. I always used the night comfort and it make the low contrast of the TFT worst.

              You can't beat an oled screen. Bought the tab s9. Now I have speed, a modern os and an updated oled. Yeehah.

                @feisty: Right now its a coin flip on whether I fully transition to the apple eco-system. I just still love android tablets and what you can customise on it a lil too much.

                  @Fasian: Tough one for sure. Cant help. Had the iphone 1 because they were super stable compared to my old PDAs..as soon as android became decent i switched back. The apple ecosystem and their crude attempts at anti piracy was killing me when trying to sync music b/w phone and kids ipods ipads etc. Im scarred for life.

      Thanks for the tip. But this code only impact the accessories if not already discounted.
      I miss the day when such code were applied to all items, even the phone/tablet in the cart.
      You wouldn't even think about apple then.

    So say if I get the S9 Ultra 256gb WiFi only with trade-in of my S7+ valued $285.

    It would be:-

    $1699.15 - $285 - $450 = $964.15
    Plus the $100 voucher via chat
    $964.15 - $100 = $864.15
    And paid via Samsung App first use at 5% discount, $864.15 * 0.95 = $820.94 final cost? Am I correct?

      I believe it's the $60 no-return fee, and whatever you're trade in device is valued at at time of the order.
      I used my Pixel 5 and said it's cracked making it $1.00 value so the end result is $61.00 that I need to add back to my order total for the true cost.

            @DaDiesel: I got billed $60 from Asurion for not returning a $10 minimum trade value S8 on my S24U, so seems like they're going straight to the max now for non-return rather than scale from $30-$60 as before. Wouldn't be surprised if it gets jacked up at some point so its no longer (as) profitable to just eat the cost for the extra trade credits

      Tell them you want a loyalty voucher . Ideally you should have another Samsung product . Once I wanted a voucher for a tv and I told them I have a Samsung soundbar. So they made me send them a photo of the serial number before they gave me the code

        I have 2 $100 vouchers, got them via chat and phone call. One starting with CLS and the other is CLE but could not stack them. Looks like it has been fixed.

    Managed to snag the Tab S9+ 256GB Wifi for about $655.

    I can't get the math to line up right by a few dollars but this is the closest I can get and how I think they calculate the discounts.

    $1699 base price
    $1444 post current 15% discount
    $1164 post $280 from S21 Ultra trade in
    $1106 post Samsung Shop app 5% discount
    -350 for trade in bonus
    -100 for voucher
    $656 is my calculation, but they charged me about $658 - close enough

    Pretty good deal all things considered.

    I've been on the Samsung trade in bandwagon for a few years now, once or twice a year seems to be great to jump on. But I also recognize I have a decent disposable income.

    Samsung newsletter $50 does not exist anymore, as is the 10% loyalty discount voucher from chat.

    To get the $100 voucher, just load up the item you wanna buy and do the trade in steps at the checkout (DO NOT USE THE ASURION APP - it's a waste of time and doesn't work for online purchases anymore). At the checkout just select the item you wanna and it will come up with the correct discount. Take a screenshot of your preloaded checkout screen and send it to the chat agent - they will give you the $100 easily. They don't want you to just collect codes, so they are now insisting of a screenshot.

        No specific wording.
        I asked can you please help me with loyalty voucher and tell them you are trading in to buy a new item.
        They will ask you to please go through with the purcahse with them while on the chat.
        Just follow instructions above.
        I haven't had any trouble getting vouchers from chat agents esp low level $100 vouchers.

        I do sense that they are cottoning on to the fact that lots of people are purchasing with multiple vouchers and now they are tightening up the amount of different vouchers you can get overall.

    Thank you for the deal… I missed the S8 Ultra deal from last year but this is the closest one that I can get.
    To help everyone with the calculation on final price, this is what I have been charged.
    Tab S9 Ultra WIFI 256GB
    MSRP $1999
    15% Disc -$299.85
    Trade in Bonus -$450
    Dummy trade in -$1
    $100 chat voucher -$100
    Samsung Points -$404.93 (this is my own Samsung points from prior TV purchase)
    5% App discount -$64.66 (this calculated at 5%x($1999-$299.85-$404.93-$1)

    Final Price $678.56

    I may need to add $60 on top depends on how much Asurion will charge me.

    Now time to look a case for this bad boy!
