Great price!

    • I previously owned a RTX 3060 MSI Ventus with the same cooler and it ran really hot and load, its usually ran at least 85c in well ventilated case after only a few minutes of gaming, I returned it, I would of thought the cooler on this card in this post would perform better?

It's meaningless to try and compare model series between generations.

A great example is the ASUS 5700 XT TUF which was widely panned for having terrible memory cooling - that isn't representative of the performance of other TUF models, which are mostly the best in the business (without spending pisstake amounts of money on ROG stuff).

I haven't seen anything to suggest the Ventus is a bad model for the 40 series. On the other hand, apparently most of Gigabyte's low end models are to be avoided for this generation.

I actually feel like i might as well pull the trigger on this one from centrecom 1059 is a fair price for this card

Not worth it over other models that are sub $1.1K.

Extra $100 nets you the super variant

    • Who's selling the 4070 Ti Super for $1299?

@zyron Hand in your ozbargain license.

The person who made the assertion and couldn't be bothered linking the deal ought be more at risk of losing their OzB licence, but the negs have spoken. That's a good deal

Now you are just being sensitive and entitled. I didn't link as it was on ozbargain. If it hadn't been there I would have provided it. You could have checked it on the site or do you expect someone to spoon feed you everything.
So it comes off as a bit rich saying I can't be bothered when the same could be said for you.

        • You are the one who made the assertion. You ought be the one who proves it. That's how it works literally everywhere else in the civilised world.

Otherwise, I could just say you are a criminal, and it's up to you to prove me wrong.

          • @xyron: You are not comparing like for like. When it's within a system you use, you can normally find it.. if we are comparing to another example such as a workplace, does someone need to continuously provide a link to a procedure in a database when mentioned. People should know how to access procedures when you need to find a process.
I made the comment and raised awareness. And your 'literal' comment is not true. There's an expectation of understanding the environment, everyone here is mature enough to know what to do.

    • For most gaming PCs, yes.
