Thanks OP. grabbed it. I have been using Eufy form the past 2 years and they never missed a beat. I use them mostly to monitor the external of my house and its pretty good with detection.

Ordered Grade C as well couple month ago, can't even see any marks/scratches, very minimal signs of usage to be honest.
    Great deal!

    • was it the same price?

      • +1

I bought 2c Pro 2K 2 Camera Set (Grade C) @ $224.98 which is not available at the moment.

  • thanks op bought. nearly paid full price the other week then started looking at the tp link systems. i think this was worth the wait!

  • Hey OP. even though, it mentioned C grade, did you get almost brand new one? Thanka

  • Whats the view angle on these like?

  • Thanks OP , bought one. Was looking at the S340 Solocam for its versatility but getting a 4 cam pack means I don’t have to worry about where I place it and have blind spots.

  • How does charging work? Do you need to take the batteries out to charge them every 3-6 months?

    • Yes. Depends on usage. I find it needs to be charged every 4 months

    • +4

No, you don't take the batteries out. You can untie/unscrew cameras from the mount and charge. You can even leave the camera in the mount and charge it with a long/extended micro USB cable and a power bank. Depending on the alerts it get, you may have to charge it frequently (mine is roughly every 3-4 months, with heavy alerts ranging from cars, people, pets, kids playing in drive way etc). These are great cameras, triggers are very quick.

      • Great thanks for that. So I’m guessing placement is important so you can access them without too much trouble (obviously enough effort to avoid thieves getting to them).

        • +1

Yes that's correct. May be an extended step ladder helps but if yours is a double storey house and if they are placed very high then you can even install a solar panel for them.

    • +1

I grabbed some solar panels off Temu - like $22 for a pair.

  • Thank you OP.

  • Looks like it's out of stock already

  • How good is the wifi connectivity? What's the maximum distance between base and the camera for best quality,?

    • -3

If internet down then whole box down

      • +3

The box actually stays up … and the cameras remain connected to it and log/record.
You just can't access it until you have internet back

      • +1

This is wrong. The base makes its own network as long as it has power.

    • +1

Surprisingly good. I have the base and one camera at opposite corners of my brick house and have zero issues.

  • How big is the on board hard drive?

    • I think it's 16gb, but as it only records small events this is more than enough

  • This or the 3c 4K refurb though? (2x cameras and Homebase 3 for $449)

Higher resolution, 8K zoom, and motion activated spotlight.

Homebase 3 is also backwards compatible with existing cameras.

    • I purchased this option. Much prefer the 3c cameras with spotlights, plus homebase 3 which for me is newly compatible with my existing Eufy floodlight camera.

      • You're right I wish I purchased the Homebase 3 version now

        • I thought about it for a long time but read of quite a few issues with the home base 3 and 3c being slow to operate - perhaps not for everyone, but enough people complained about it that I actually went for the older 2k model, so I wouldn’t feel too bad

Could always upgrade to homebase 3 if you really need it, but tbh I have one of my eufy separate to the homebase and it’s fine, can still group them together and change the group. Settings with a single click

    • Link for this one? I can’t seem to find it…

I have two of these currently and just purchased another 3 cameras. I purchased a solar panel of ebay for $20 and never have to worry about charging it.

    • Thanks, whilst it was still a good deal, I was on the fence as I only needed 3. Bought this instead

    • How many more do you need?

      • I'll sell one on marketplace along with the homebase. I wanted 4 cameras all up.

  • I was able to grab 4 camera set, thanks OP

  • can we copy videos homebase 3 to nas ?

    • +1

Yeah Homebase easy output via USB

      • i meant automatically, like sith FTP ?

reviewed 3 years ago for anyone interested
for $399 is a great starter kit but image quality may not be high enough for everyone

  • Did they fix the (burglar friendly) button resetting the camera and deleting all of its previous footage?

  • Is grade C good?
Does it provide free online storage? How much storage ?

    • Yes.
No - storage is on the Homebase.

  • I got an unfortunate case. I bought a used eufy doorbell + homebase 2 from Eufy store in Amazon. It's ok to connect phone with the homebase 2, but it's failed to connect with the doorbell and the homebase 2. I tried all suggestions from Eufy support ticket, but it didn't work, so I had to return it via Amazon website. The return process was simple, but it's wasted of time to get a faulty product.

  • Has anyone's posted yet? Mine's still processing

    • Mine took a couple of weeks to arrive. Ordered before this deal was posted. Pretty good condition for grade c. Was expecting worse based on the description. Came in original box with packaging. Haven't tested the actual cameras yet. Hopefully they function and batteries hold charge well. Don't expect fast postage though.

    • Mine arrived today. I've only plugged the homebase in (and linked with my existing floodlight camera) but seems to be working fine. A few little marks on the outside of the cameras but nothing serious.

  • Ok so one of mine got delivered (ordered 2 separately). It appeared out of the blue even though it still shows processing on the site.
Unboxed, everything looks clean, just slight blemishes on the exterior.. power up the Homebase, nothing, no lights, completely doa.
What a load of crap. The refurb techs had one job.

  • Got mine today. A few scuffs on the camera but the lens are fine. Tested and working perfectly
