Out of interest, roughly how old are these?

  • Would these operate as satellites to an existing Orbi RBR 750 set up?

  • What is a warranty on this one?

  • Warranty: 3 Months.

Keep in-mind the firmware was last updated ~ Sep 2022, so you shouldn't expect any further patches or improvements.

These were also released in 2021… so that's a spectacularly short support period 🤔

@MetroCom, just some feedback which you can reflect on / pass on to the team. I bought the RBK352 2-pack and it came yesterday. I was very surprised to see that no one had bothered giving the contents of the box a clean before shipping them out. The units which I had received were dusty, and the box had cobwebs inside. It was very clear to me that the unit had not been tested before being shipped out to me - I had to perform a hard reset on the units before setting them up, as their SSID and admin passwords had been changed by the original owner. The original purchase invoice of the original owner was still in there as well, with their address and phone number.

This has not been the first time I've experienced such an outcome with Metrocom, so clearly someone's slacking on the job. Can't speak for everyone else, but when I'm buying pre-owned stuff from anywhere except Gumtree or Facebook, I expect that it has at least been cleaned and tested.

Hi mate, really sorry about you bad experience. I told the technicians to reset and clean them the soon when we got this batch but it doesn't seem to be treated properly. I will definitely talk to the team again to make sure they do it properly in the future. If you can send us an email with your order details, we will sort out something for you.
      Cheers,
      Jun
